  1. I'm assuming there's plenty waiting for the top tier to go on sale before buying?
  2. Certainly decent once they went 2-0 up. Still managed a rendition of that Ranieri chant though, proper weirdos.
  3. Indeed. Hamza 'the lesser of two liabilities'.
  4. Much improved today- plenty of positives, plenty to build on- - Soumare had his best game for us and is now one of the first names on the teamsheet. - Bilal is a serious player- worst comes to worst, we'll be able to sell him on for double what we paid for him. - Vestergaard excellent again- looks every bit a top flight defender. - Jakub a more than capable deputy- defence looks settled in front of him. - Hamza showed enough to be given a go at right back over Justin. - Team looked much more structured and balanced, bodes well for getting Bilal and Facundo in the team together. - Much more positive and fluid going forward, ball was moved out of midfield faster and generally we looked dangerous. The main thing though- effort. Quick to press, contested for the second ball, good running and availability off the ball. It's another loss, but we've shown signs in the past 2 games that we're capable of staying up. A lot hinges on whether Rudkin pulls his finger out and we bring in 2 or 3 PL standard player in Jan.
  5. That bad? Christ
  6. Last week's 'relegate us now' moment.
  7. Relegate us now.
  8. That really is the problem. Especially Justin. No centre back is going to look particularly great when he's constantly having to step out of position to cover errors.
  9. One real positive is that Jannick looks like a genuine PL defender. Even looks like he's gained half a yard of pace
  10. We were far better than this last season- lost 3 of our best players (1 to Chelsea and 2 to injury), a tactically astute manager, and not one signing has improved the starting 11.
  11. What the actual **** are Facundo and Mavididi doing there? Embarrassing.
  12. Honestly can't stand it. If we weren't going to have the book thrown at us by the EFL next season I really wouldn't be arsed if we went down.
  13. So we're just sat looking at a still image for 2 minutes. And these clowns turned down semi-automated in the summer. Utterly ridiculous.
  14. It's been embarrassing. Hasn't needed to be subtle and Justin has been all over the shop.
  15. Just dig in here now, keep it at one goal for another 10-15 minutes then have a crack at them.
  16. Quite. It's not effective unless you have the players for it, and it's certainly not entertaining at any level. Take Pep to the Hague.
  17. Winks has been excellent so far
  18. Just thinking exactly the same. Look a lot more assured at the back so far.
  19. Just a matter of time here. Need to get hold of the ball and give them something to think about
  20. Jesus wept. Time to power through the hangover, see how many beers I can get down me before kick off to numb what is bound to be an absolute pasting.
  21. Where you tunneling to? Next changing room?!
  22. Completely agree- I know plenty are already there, but he's rapidly running out of the credit in the bank for his and Vichai's previous successes in my eyes. If he does get rid of Rudkin (or at least bring in some competent staff to oversee things), it's also a clean slate- the situation is far from lost.
  23. He obviously cares. And that's more than can be said for some of the parasites running great clubs into the ground in this country. But he's put too much faith into a glorified PE teacher- he's a businessman and in business terms, it's a horrible decision. I'm not 'King Power out' just yet- still have hope that the penny will drop- but we've certainly pissed away our status as a top level club. Whether he's got the minerals to claim it back remains to be seen. Last chance saloon in my eyes.
  24. If the players have put a shift in I'll stay. Even if they've been outclassed. But I don't know what to say about today, we didn't even try to lay a glove on them. I couldn't even be arsed to stay to voice my displeasure. The last 3 years have drained the passion away, for me.
  25. I left early today- can't remember the last time. I watched Cunha stand there with the ball in the centre circle for 15 seconds towards the end, half the crowd thought the ref had blown for a foul. Absolutely bizarre, lack of effort today was disgusting.
