Friday should suit us more than tonight.

And we haven't for the last 3 seasons. 2 clean sheets this calendar year, guess who was in the side for both...

Could have been worse

I'd thought we'd learned our lessons and turned a corner. Apparently we've learned **** all.

Leeds not winning a fairly straightforward home game and seemingly off form is the only saving grace.

The worst part about it is how easily we started created openings when we actually decided to attack in stoppage time. Tactical disasterclass, players showing the type of character that got us relegated.

Took us 92 minutes to realise we need to win the game. Soon as we show some urgency things start happening. Absolute joke.

Bit of urgency wouldn't go amiss here.

Always going to be tough tonight, they're well up for it. Need to keep pinging the long cross-field passes, that's the way we're going to get through them.

Would really put the pressure on them if they drop any points.

They've got a couple of favourable home games next, unfortunately.

Just how it goes psychologically, I suppose- Leeds have been relentless (yesterday was their first loss of 2024) and Ipswich have just been finding a way week after week. It was starting to feel like they weren't going to slip up much, if at all. Highlights how important it is to keep winning and the amount of pressure that creates for the other teams.

Cov more likely to be in the mix for sure. Largely irrelevant now after yesterday's results if we go on another winning run anyway!

Ipswich have got Hull and Cov away in the space of 4 days... they will do very well to come away from that with 6 points.

I think chasing will suit us. Knowing we have to win every week rather than sit on what we have will hopefully result in some more attacking performances from the start.

Ipswich are a different beast at home and their difficult games are away. Norwich have had their number for a while too.

I would love it if we both finish above Leeds, to be fair. Table doesn't look great for them if they lose tonight...

There's still going to be twists and turns. Ipswich got their derby next week and still have to go to Hull and Coventry. 5 wins from our 7 games will do it comfortably.

Be happy with a Southampton win- having something to play for at Elland Road might make a difference. If they catch us then we've ****ed it anyway and will probably finish 4th.

Much better. Attacking intent and showed some character which has been absent over the last month or two. Feels like a massive win.

It's like watching a car crash in slow motion. I'd be surprised if there's ever been such a collapse in league history- on track for the points record to relegation form. We're the only club capable of it

Indeed. International break comes at a good time. Would be tempted to send them all on holiday for a few days, clear their heads.
