Bournemouth FA Cup (a) Post Match Thread

Really wasn't arsed about this before the game but that's turned into a welcome distraction and massive confidence booster. -
The dynamic may change for Leeds as soon as promotion is theirs to lose. Very different pressure to chasing.
-
That's a good day, considering the difficulty of fixtures.
-
Ipswich won 1 in 9 before last week- they will drop plenty of points before the end of the season. Southampton look done.
-
Should.

Statement performance against QPR, for a start. Think we need 4 points from Hull and Sunderland now. Then beat Southampton to put them out of it. March fixtures are tricky for us and easy for Leeds/Ipswich- if we're still top by April we'll be fine. Could do without the Bournemouth game to be honest. -

Did we not get a reaction? If we'd had any sort of composure in front of goal, we would have stuck 4 past them and we'd be talking about it being one the great championship away performances. -
Ipswich only deal in double deflections
-
Tends to, depends which games it happens in though- disallowed goal today and blatant pen at Ipswich- that's our 2 nearest chellengers out of the race if the correct decisions are made. Still better than VAR, mind.

More Watford. We already knew that lot had the bottle when they lost to Arsenal (that's the game where I 'knew' we'd win the league, weirdly- all felt so similar). Before Watford, there were big questions about the mentality when the pressure was on. -
It's going to feel a bit more like a title race for a while. Hopefully we see an upturn.
-
Should be an open poll. Anyone who put 4th gets sectioned.

That's genuinely the best we've played all season. Mental we've lost it 3-1 -

I mean... we did enough to win that game 3 times really. 2 attacks, bit of pinball in the box and the game flips on its head. Not a lot you can do other than make sure you win the next few. -
Cue the bedwetting
-
Haven't managed to shed that Rodgers mental defect, have we
-
I stand corrected. THAT'S well Leicester.
-
Well Leicester, that.
-
Regardless of how this game pans out... can everyone stop wetting the bed about the chasing pack when one result doesn't go our way? most difficult game of the season and we're dominating.
-
Weather the early storm, attack with purpose on the break. Come on City.

I'd love to know where this perception of Hamza being a walking red card comes from. Just checked and did the maths- he's averaged a red every 43 full 90-minute matches across his career.
-
Vardy has got one last massive, iconic moment in him. Hopefully tonight.
-
Anyone else just not stressing about this game at all, regardless of result?

"One of those days" about sums it up. -
Why? It's just a nod to harder times, in my opinion.
