I doubt he'd be interested or we'd pay his asking price. But you never say never in Football.
-
It depends on the terms of his employment. He may have requested a free hand in decision making.

As I said above not all sacked managers are bad. The big plus with a young hungry manager is you have a better chance of keeping them if they are on the way up or as you say have an allegiance to the Club. I just hope this lad McCarron is up to the job and not influenced by Rudkin.
-
We tried the cheap route and look where that got us. Though I know the next Pep is out there who would come cheap now,. Not every manager sacked is a bad one, Sometimes it just doesn't work out at some clubs for them. Ranieri for instance. It's really about doing your home work and due dilligence.

Fuchs or Wellens could both be good appointments given our present position. Is'n't Fuchs still running Academy's which would give him a good insight into Coaching individuals and Systems etc. I also like that Wellens prefers hight energy high tempo performances from his teams. Something we've lacked for a few seasons now. What I really want is for the Club to get the appointment right and in place early for preseason. Not like last years fiasco.

Sadly he failed miserably at the one job he was brought in to do, That's avoid relegation, So time to move on. We need better.
-
There will be quite a few Managerial departures from other Clubs over the next Month. It would be wise to wait a while to see who becomes available.
-
He was embarrassing today. Nice lad but he was just another bad buy. I can't wait until we get someone in who can properly lead the line.
-
While that's true, Apparently we had a player sold which would have mitigated the points penalty. But the player changed his mind at the last minute. The two clowns promised Susan they'ed never let that happen whenshe challenged the overspending.

I can never understand it either, He's a fantastic alhletic player Strong fast and quick. He has to be one of the first names on the Teamsheet nexr season.
-
Why wasn't Vesty taking our set pieces all season.
-
Ayew doing his part trick.
-
So it's the last few games really that cost us, Games we should have easily won.
-
You just know Blackburn will get an equalizer.
-
Vesty playing for a move elsewhere.
-
I know he's young but he's overhyped He has a lot to learn.
-
Normal service resumes.
-
I've never seen a footballer struggle so much with the Ball at his feet as Daka.

Ricardo proved better than I thought he would be before his injuries. Since then it's been mostly downhill. You can't blame him for taking the big contract. I just hope we've learned that when players suffer big injuries we need to sell them asap for the good of the Club. I wish him well for the rest of his career.

All pressure off now that we're relegated. Can we finish the season with a win. ?
-
Are they KP ?

He could well be an inspired appointment. WE know there's a lot of very good Dutch Coaches from Holland. I was disappointed Ruud didn't bring any of them in to help him out. I don't know anything about Dick but he's not a youngster so he's been around the game quite a while and unlikely to be intimidated by the task at hand. He may well like the Challenge of rebuilding the Club while setting out the structures for the youth system as a whole with the view to creating a supply chain of players going forward which will help with finances.
-
I do believe him simply because it would be an innocuous thing to say if it weren't true. Vichai himself said it was Top who encouraged him to buy the Club. I just hope he's learned from his mistakes of the past few years.
-
Honestly, I think he does care about us. He's been a Fan since 10 years long before he talked his Dad into buying us in 2010. I'm sure he knows he has to stop the rot or he could lose everything. As without his Dad's support I don't think KP want to finance us. And he doesn't have the resources until we stableize our finances which might take a season or two. He needs to get rid of Rudkin and bring in a proper Manager or DOF.
-
He did I believe he put 124 million in cash of his own money in and increased his shareholding which is normal in business. I'm sure it was used to pay down debt. He also did the Marquire bank deal without which we could easily have gone into Administration.
