Windows shut down music as soon as Mav got the ball and didn’t shoot on his right first time.

Mav and Soumare need to be hooked. Both so thick with zero urgency or awareness. Soumare jogged back to help in defence while everyone else busts a gut.

There is so much space when Fatawu and Mavadidi get the ball and are facing the defender. Our players love to stand back and admire the step overs.

Hopefully Marti drags Ayew and Soumare off. Both thick as mince and stink out the team. I like Mav but he causes himself more problems by having g to repeat the same thing 3 times even though he could’ve crossed first time. Bring on Monga.

All it takes is Ayew holding on to the ball for too long and avoid the goal to stink out an attack completely

He has zero urgency and awareness. Floats around and seems to only decide to go to the ball and man once it’s beyond him.

They are causing their own problems by trying to play slowly against a good press. Everyone stops moving into space once the chuckle brothers slip into to me to you mode.

Bypass Ayew and Soumare and an attack will flow. Ayew just needs to goal hang and shithouse in the box, not on the halfway line stinking out counter attacks.

It seems strange in the modern game for a young cb to struggle with short passes. He stutters when he has to pass the ball and takes too long. Him and Hamza passing the ball around the back is a worry as the ball ends up with Jakob booting it out. Faes and Winks to start the attacks quickly. I don’t have any faith in Marti or his tactics until they stop looking like Ruud’s. I want him and the team to do well and start to win comfortably but playing the same donkeys the same way isn’t it. Lets see if he starts Winks and Ricardo at least, if not then the problem with this team are his making. Then get the full backs to carry the ball, pass it forwards and someone else run into the space behind which only happens once Ricardo is on the pitch.

He is a player that needs the ball played high up the pitch with some forward momentum. KDH provided that. When JJ was playing on the left he never passed the ball forward, Mav had to drop deep, becoming useless. Marti hasn’t got the fullbacks doing anything other than a back pass, until Ricardo comes on. Having Thomas behind Mavadidi doesn’t help as he always looks to pass sideways and back. The issue is when Mav gets a chance he does 8 step overs standing still, when he runs with the ball he can do something. He is also a bit of a mope when things don’t go his way.

He has had more contracts than forward passes. Boring player.

Hopefully Marti doesn’t handicap us like every game so far and waste 45 minutes. He should never start Skippmare again. JJ, Monga, Ricardo and Winks to start and hopefully we play decent football.

Stop playing 2 CDM that are proven donkeys. Avoid Ayew in any build up and just get him to goal hang. Hopefully Marti finally makes the changes to midfield and stop handicapping the team from the start. No excuses and copes now. We have the players. And JV is playing the Enzo ball style too often, slowing it down and inviting a press to make space, but the ball to Ayew doesn’t work or to Skipmare. Okoli is shocking at passing and has to think for a week before he passes it sideways. They will get caught out when we play half decent forwards. That calmed down once Winks was on the pitch and JV offloaded the ball first time to him.

Gets docked if he passes to a team mate and a bonus if he falls down and stops a counter attack.

Disagree with this - he holds up the ball instead of passing, looking to fall over. The shot before he scored yesterday, had time to shoot but cut outside and took it away from goal. He is a greedy player and a cheat. Good job he’s gone next season.

Not a team player and must be frustrating to play with, standing in space while watching him twist and turn into trouble. Didn’t fall over as much which is a start. Hopefully he has cottoned on that championship refs don’t care about a bit of rough and tumble. Glad he scored of course. He isn’t going to change his style.

As always he makes such a difference. Less stupid passes around the back for the sake of it and more attacking involvement high up the pitch. The wingers have no chance when they have to drop deep because the ball is played poorly around the Skippmare void.

Winks and Ricardo will change any game as they are good players who have footballing ability and intelligence. I would love to see an average Skipp performance, your assessment is being generous. Completely brain dead player. He plays football like a dog, when he goes to make a tackle he seems to run to where the player was, then confused as the ball has moved. In the first half he picked up the ball in midfield, no one in front and he runs at an angle where his brain cell brother was standing still and then walked into his path and the ball ends up nowhere. He could’ve won the game if he took the clear chances he had to shoot. Brain dead, doesn’t have the instinct or think to try something. He also got the ball in a nice build up close to goal, he blasts it backwards first time when he could’ve tried to control it. It suddenly ended up with the donkeys at the back defending. Too many of the team want to pass back and sideways without even bothering to look where they are passing.

Another manager playing the same shit players the same shit way game after game. He could make this team a lot better than they are but it stays the same. Either he doesn’t think there’s a problem, doesn’t know how to fix it or the players won’t listen. None of our players have improved any of our players. The only good thing of note for me is giving Monga a chance, even then he has Thomas behind him and Ayew to the side. I don’t expect much from him as he’s not really an experienced manager. The team, club and manager are at the same level. A few changes from all and they can be so much more.

Replace Okoli, JV, Soumare, Skipp and Ayew and we have a football team that can pass forwards. Skipp, Soumare and Daka have zero footballing intellect. To play them over any one else puts us at a disadvantage. Ayew would be better if he was a team player but he isn’t and he will never be, so for that I don’t want to see him play if we have better, Not sure how we are still playing with such a passive and negative style. Winks and Ricardo made the difference. JV kills any move out of the back with his constant slowing down and then blasting into Ayew or the void of the Skippmare.
