  1. 3rd July Gabriel Periera and Fatawu double.
  2. My problem with the 39th game isn't it's location. It can't be fair... regardless of where it's played! 4th and 5th placed team batting it out for the last CL spot, 4th play 3rd whilst 5th play 6th... How is that fair on the team in 4th? Situations like that will happen up and down the table.
  3. Skip Bayless and Stephen A say hello!
  4. The way i view the recruitment at Forest under Cooper is doing a Jigsaw. Imagine doing a 1000 piece Jigsaw. You've got all the pieces you need to make a lovely wee picture. Then some fat Greek guy comes in and dumps 5 other jigsaws in the same box. Now, you can still make the same lovely wee picture, it's just going to be much harder and take far longer shifting through the guff. I think as long as we give him the right pieces, he'll make us a lovely wee picture.
  5. I didn't think it was a penalty untill they showed it a few times after the game and highlighted the legs which I didn't look at initially. He knees his calf as he planted his leg, that's what caused him to spin round. But it makes no difference. We were sh!te.
  6. We've been the wrist team in the tournament. We deserve to go out and Clark or Adams doesn't deserve a place on the plane home.
  7. Can't wait to see all these changes that Steve Clark is gonna make!
  8. I agree with you but it can be argued that we atleast need to create a chance for it to matter. But in the very least, Shankland might not continuously give away freekicks on the edge of our box.

  10. Get Adams off! He's a wast if space!!
  11. Wrong again. 5 are starters... Robertson, Christie, Mcginn, Gilmour, and Armstrong (I was generous giving you him). Mctominay is rotational at best and Tierney was being punted out on loan last year. So we've went from "most are PL player" to, 5 play regularly in the PL.
  12. Absolute trash line up. Clark should be fired tomorrow.
  13. I was really up for it tonight. Thought with Tierney out we would have went 4 at the back put the wingers on, played Shankland and went for it but after seeing Clark prattle on in the presser about our system, it confirmed to me we are just going to plod on with the same sh!t that's seen us get 1 win in about 12 games even though we need to win this one!
  14. Yup.... being a bitter Scottish pr!ck can be sexually transmitted!
  15. Some of the stuff posted around him is wild. I put it down to the fact that when anyone goes missing in such a high profile way, there are always people that want to question everything but maybe don't want their family and friends to think they are insensitive. However, given this boys past, they feel comfortable saying whatever they want about him.

I think the prospect of playing a deeper defensive line somewhat changes the dynamic of our CBs. They don't suit our current style of play but drop them back 10 yards where pace becomes less of an issue and defending becomes their one and only priority... Souttar, Coady and Nelson look far better prospects. Then we have Vesty and Faes who are also able to play higher up if needed. Don't get me wrong, I'd still like to see one or two of them replaced with a bit more quality but I don't think it's quite as bleak as it once was.
  17. Tbh, the question shouldn't be why these clubs are doing this, it should be why aren't we? Is it a bit Sly? Ofcourse but it's within the rules that we had no issue breaking so...
  18. The more I think about it, the more I think he's a good fit and has qualities we need right now. One of his main strengths is his ability to unify the players and fans. We need that. We are so fractured as a club just now. Fans, players, board, all of seem to be pulling in different directions, we need someone to bring us together and get a siege mentality going with what the club are facing right now. I believe he can do that. His track record with youth. We are in a financial mess right now. We need someone who can get the best out of every resource we have and youth can play a part in that if we can get someone who can bring them through, develop them and integrate them in the team. He has proven he can do that. Someone who can adapt to get the best out our current team. Like my previous point, we won't have all that much to spend so we need someone who isn't married to a specific way of playing that alienates half our squad. He has shown that he will adapt to what he has available. The low block is the perfect example. Not only will it suit almost all our current CBs but all our current strikers who all work better running in behind. He has shown that he's not afraid to adapt his tactics and system depending on who we are playing, how we are playing, who is fit etc. We didn't have that under Enzo and it showed at times. He has proven he can deliver what's expected of him whilst Woking with utter clowns in the boardroom. He will need that experience. Yes. There are negatives and his win rate in the PL is one of them, particuarly away from home but people forget, he is a young manager. Enzo benefitted from the "up and coming" "still learning" tag, he should too as they are the same age. Plus from what we've heard, he is a student of the game and has went away and analysed what went wrong, I have every faith he has learned from that. Plus, even with that win ratio... he achieved what he set out to achieve with forest. I wasn't excited by his appointment but I'm now 100% convinced he'll succeed here and people need to drop their desire to be proven right and get behind him.
  19. Park life!
  20. I don't think he was as bad as people are making out. He often found himself being doubled up on by Saka and Walker and yes he did struggle but there aren't many LBs in the world that wouldn't. He gave a decent account of himself other than the goal. I did say after their first game and @Ric Flair just repetead it. He does strike me as more of a LB than a LWB and I think that having him and JJ as more defensive options on each side whilst Ricardo and a new signing offers wore attacking threats would be a goid balance.
  21. I think it's playing on repeat on sky channel 222.
  22. I'm assuming that's out of 100?
  23. England should consider themselves lucky. Second best all over the pitch.
  24. I guess that's why you're watching the England game? Smart! Not much to smile about there!
