  1. Thanks for writing this Steve - and for coming and getting involved in the Trust. We've said a few times, the Trust is only as strong as the people it has helping it and the number of members it has adding to the weight it holds. The influx we've had recently in both members and volunteers is giving us a real boost and letting us do more (which people should be seeing coming to fruition in the near future).
  2. You may have seen the event organisers distributing flyers before the match yesterday. Trust members have until Monday 6th April to purchase tickets using the discount code that provides a £5.50 discount. Details on the voucher code have been shared on email as a standalone email and also in the members newsletter that was sent in the week. It would be great to see as many Trust members taking advantage of this perk as possible so that we can keep offering benefits like this in future. As others have said, using this discount alone makes you back the current price of membership (£5) and nothing to stop anyone joining before Monday 6th April using the discount code immediately.
  3. You can't please all of the people all of the time of course but, yes, the Facebook reaction to our posts on there are rather different to that elsewhere. The thing about the Trust being a democratic organisation is that anyone can join and make it what they want it to be. If enough people think the same way and join, they have ways and means of getting the Trust representing them as they wish.
  4. With the Trust discount it's £33 for a ticket. Not too out of kilter with what you'd pay for a theatre show or similar these days. The VIP ones with meet and greet are obviously much pricier at £97.90!
  5. This one is for all fans and we didn't want the offer just to be for members only for an important away game. There will be member exclusive benefits such as the 17th May Live Q&A event at The Athena, but this one we wanted to do something for all LCFC fans. Hopefully people will see that we're trying to do more and more for the fan base and be incentivised to join because of that in their own time!
  6. Heading to the Sheffield Wednesday away game on Monday 6th April? The Foxes Trust has agreed a deal with The Cavendish pub on West Street in Sheffield. Simply by asking for the 'Foxes Trust Offer' and showing your match ticket, you can receive a 20% discount on food and drink on the day of the game. This is open to all LCFC fans and not just Trust members. Trams can be taken direct to Hillsborough from the road the pub is on (West Street) - use the Blue (Malin Bridge) or Yellow (Middlewood) routes. Enjoy!
  7. We're making an active effort to give people more for the membership fee they pay. Money back won't be the primary motivation for a lot of our members - it's showing their support and having a voice represent them - but it can't hurt to give people a bit more value as we look to grow the Trust into a mass membership organisation.
  8. On Sunday 17th May (show start 18:30), this live Q&A event will be held at the Athena Theatre in Leicester. Tickets are available to buy here and all Foxes Trust members should have received an email today (check junk/spam folders if not) with a discount code that provides £5.50 off for Trust members. Tickets must be purchased by Monday 6th April 2026 to use the Foxes Trust discount code. Worth noting: if you are not currently a Trust member but wish to join (full membership currently costs £5 for adults and less for concessions), new joiners prior to 6th April will also be eligible to use this discount code - just email [email protected] after you have signed up to request your code.
  9. We have also pushed the club for more You Said, We Did type communications. If decisions are being taken based on the feedback received by supporters, this should be easy to evidence...
  10. So for the Your 90 Minutes sessions - that the club do not minute or release any record of - we've started doing this (you can see them here and here) so that we, and others, can track what makes it up through the levels of the Fan Engagement Framework and results in change. For the FAB. we are bound by NDA, so can't release our own minutes from those sessions. And for the FCC we are only present in one or two of the three working groups that take place each time the FCC meets so we don't get full visibility on what is said in every session at that level of the Fan Engagement Framework which would make doing our own minutes there difficult to do. What we do do, however, is to track how the minutes align with what our representatives heard on the night and we have been pushing the club to release minutes quicker (this is taking far too long after sessions at the moment). We are pushing to meet with the Club about our Fan Engagement Framework Survey results (available here) and will be raising our concerns when we do.
  11. We recently ran a short survey (gathering 967 responses) to ask fans how they are feeling about the Fan Engagement Framework and Fan Engagement more broadly. Today, we have released those results in-full on our website. You can see them via this article as well as a summary of findings: The Fan Engagement Framework (FEF), launched by the Club in July 2024, is not working in its current format – 86% of fans surveyed said it was not ensuring fans felt engaged, 80% felt the Fan Advisory Board isn’t working in a way that makes the FEF effective and worthwhile, and 78% said they were not an engaged supporter today. Participation with the Fan Engagement Framework is lacking – 89% of fans surveyed felt the club isn’t doing enough to ensure there is participation in the FEF across the whole fan base and only 15% of those surveyed had participated in a session themselves. There is good awareness of the Fan Engagement Framework – with 65% of survey respondents being aware it existed, BUT 80% were unaware of any changes that had arisen via the FEF thanks to supporter input, and 69% didn’t know where to find information on the Club’s website about FEF matters. The Fan Engagement Framework should NOT be the only way the Club engages with supporters and fan groups – 92% of fans surveyed said the club should also look to engage directly with representative bodies of Leicester City Supporters (such as The Foxes Trust, Union FS, Foxes Pride etc.) and 86% felt the Club should engage directly with supporters and hear and act on their views. One of the questions we asked was for fans to describe their relationship with their club right now in one word. The Word Cloud (which surfaces biggest/most prominently the most commonly shared words) for this question is as follows: One of the reasons we ran this survey was to pressure-test the effectiveness of the Fan Engagement Framework given it has been in place for over 18 months now, and to understand how the Trust to should be involved in future. The results - with 74% of supporters surveyed believing that the Foxes Trust should continue to remain involved with the process - tell us that we should continue to play a role, but the comprehensive feedback on the way it's working today tell us that it needs to improve. We have shared these results in full with the Club and asked to meet to discuss how improvements can be made. Our commitment will be to support the Club in taking steps to do this, however we will be keeping a close eye on changes that are made and continually re-assessing whether the Fan Engagement Framework is fit for purpose. Ultimately, for the Trust to continue to support and endorse the Fan Engagement Framework, it has to be doing a better job at engaging Leicester City supporters and ensuring that feedback from fans is leading to actual change. If it is not, we’ll review whether the Trust can, in good faith, continue to remain involved. As always, if you want to show your support for our work and continue to make the Trust stronger (the more members, the stronger our voice) - you can become a member here
  12. It is important to the Foxes Trust that we accurately reflect the views of our membership. To help us do that, last week we launched a short Pulse Survey, designed to act as a barometer of members’ opinions on the club’s leadership, management and ownership. The results will provide guidance as we consider our approach over the coming weeks and months, ahead of our next more comprehensive end-of-season survey. This survey is for members only. If you have not received an email containing your link then please get in touch.
  13. You may have seen that the Foxes Trust has seen a lot of change over the last year and a significant rotation of board members following the latest election in late 2025/early 2026. At our AGM in January we shared our hope that more people would become involved with the Trust and contribute their skills, experience and time to help us keep growing. The Trust is therefore looking for volunteers to help on various projects and tasks. We know our supporters have so many amazing skills and valuable knowledge. Our Subgroups meet every couple of months, often online. Other tasks may be more ad hoc as and when necessary. We are currently looking for help on the following: Finance Are you able to help with accounts, budgets and/or auditing? Governance Are you an experienced Company Secretary or willing to learn? A few hours a month would be needed to keep the Trust operating well under the Society rules. Do you have legal expertise that can help the Trust run in a compliant manner? Women’s Game Do you attend the WSL games and watch Leicester Women? We need more Trust members to get involved on our Women’s Game Subgroup. Communications Do you have experience with branding and marketing that could help the Trust re-brand? Are you experienced in PR/Press Relations so that you could help us with engaging local and national media more effectively? Do you have expertise in website design that could help us with re-designing the Trust website? Are you passionate about running social media across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X and Bluesky to help us increase the number of followers we have? Do you have skills and equipment to help with creating video content for platforms such as TikTok and YouTube? Community & Representation Do you have experience in running charitable events/fundraising? Are you passionate about supporting initiatives in the local Leicester/Leicestershire community? Are you currently a member of another supporter group and able to help the Trust build stronger links/partnerships with those groups? Membership Are you able to help us improve our communication to members via member newsletters and other ways to engage? Do you have experience that could help us in co-ordinating events specifically for Foxes Trust members? Do you have experience in survey design that could help with question format and structure when the Trust runs surveys to canvas supporter or member opinion on key issues? Day To Day Operation Are you happy to volunteer some time to help with administrative tasks that help the Trust keep running? (e.g. processing new memberships) Any and all support is gladly welcomed, whether you would like to join a Trust working group to dedicate regular time or whether you are happy to make yourself available on an ad hoc basis when we need to call on you for help. We are a volunteer organisation and only as strong as the people we have helping us. If you would like to get involved, and are a member, or willing to become one, please email [email protected] with an email titled ‘I can help’ and an explanation of your skillset and which area of the Trust you would be interested in helping. We’ll then be in touch to explore further with you.
  14. We're not too far off 900 responses now. We might need a bigger target!
  15. We had originally expected that we would gather a few hundred responses across the couple of weeks we were planning to leave this open given it is just a short pulse survey and not our more comprehensive End of Season Survey. That said, within just 24 hours, we are about to pass the 400 responses mark so it would be great if we can keep seeing the participation numbers climb and in the range of 500-1,000 responses.
  16. We're trying to keep the survey as binary as possible for now as a short pulse survey. We'll deduce the desire for change to the existing FEF from responses to the other questions but in it's current format today we want to know if fans are supportive of the Trust playing a role or not (there is the option to say no strong opinion either way on this question).
  17. Yes, Ian Bason is not able to continue as the Trust FAB rep under the Terms of Reference of the Fan Engagement Framework due to no longer being a Trust board member so we have put forward a new representative in his place. We hope to be able to share more on who that is shortly (they have to be approved by the Club under the current Terms of Reference).
  18. The Foxes Trust is running a short survey to understand supporter views on the Club’s Fan Engagement Framework. We are looking to understand predominantly three things: Levels of awareness about the Fan Engagement Framework Effectiveness of the current Fan Engagement Framework General supporter sentiment on Fan Engagement currently This is a short and anonymous survey. Depending on your level of awareness the survey is either eight or seventeen questions long so is designed to be completed quickly (in under five minutes). We will be sharing the results from this survey in-full both publicly via our website and social media channels and directly with the Club (but they will not have visibility on who has taken part). Please share your view by taking the survey here.
  19. Any official support from the Trust for campaigns such as this would require a mandate from our members. If the majority of members want the Trust to focus on a particular issue or topic then we will do so (as a member-driven organisation). Additionally, when we run things like our End of Season Survey, this gives us lines to take and an indication on issues that we can focus on on behalf of the wider fan base. We did everything in our power to ensure those results were seen at every relevant level of the Club and one of our calls to action was to appoint a proven Director of Football (the Club subsequently chose the route of appointing a Technical Director). There will be upcoming opportunities for all fans to share their perspectives with us and any member can email us at any time to share their thoughts via [email protected]. If there's enough support for the Trust to get behind a particular topic from our members, being a democratically led organisation means we will do so.
  20. We have today released a statement following the news yesterday that the Club has been deducted 6 points for PSR breaches. You can read it on our website here on in-full below.
