  1. It is indeed, as we know very well...
  2. Being a Crystal Palace fan today looks pretty grim.
  3. Don't we always draw with Bournemouth?
  4. The Champions League may take its toll on ManU later in the season, but they look fresh as present. It is going to be a tough away game for our leaky defence, hopefully Iborra will play.
  5. We gotta get 3 points next week. We are going to get spanked at Old Trafford.
  6. If there was no release clause then he might not have come at all. Surely we have learnt in the last six months that holding players against their will is no way to get the best out of them?
  7. They were part of the best back five in our best run of PL clean sheets, just one year ago. I do agree that our DMs do need to protect them better, and defending set pieces needs improving too. Lets hope this new guy Wague is good.
  8. Benny had some good cameo appearances, and had the right attitude last year. As back up he is worth keeping. Huth and Morgan have not been at their best this season, but they have not become crap overnight from being title winners. Chill boys. We gonna be alright.
  9. Have they quietened down today? ;-)
  10. Having sat a few rows from him with the wind in the wrong direction, I disagree! Bernie is a legend. Bonkers (probably) but a talisman.
  11. Don't complain about it - make a profit! Paddypower has a handicap market with us at 16/1 plus 20 points (and West Ham and Everton on plus 22). They have an each way option with 1/4 odds for a top 4 place so 4/1 top 4 plus 20. Of course the other teams have handicaps too but I reckon that is worth a purple drinking voucher each way. 50/1 for Musa as TGS with an EW option for the first 6 places looks good too.
  12. I can see a place for Inler this year, Ranieri seems to rate him and we have loads of games. I suspect DeLaet will go though.
  13. We are the main story but there are others: Spurs and West Ham have had their best seasons in ages. Watford have impressed as have Bournemouth. For the first time in ages all 3 promoted teams are out of the relegation zone (at least for tonight) and 3 mainstays of the PL are in it. ManU and Chelsea may not even make the Europa league. We get the headlines, but it has been a year of change. Don't expect normality next year, we are not the only ones that will upset the applecart. Skybet has us as 50/1 to win the PL next year. When has a Champion (or runner up!) had such long odds? The penny has not dropped yet.
  14. I think there will be a lot of interest. Are we a one season wonder? Are West Ham? But who cares if others watch it. I certainly will!
  15. Sky just moved all of our remaining games to a Sunday. They must reckon there is a market.
  16. He is the best pundit out there. Original opinions and a fresh outlook. Leicester going to bomb in Europe? What like Arsenal losing 5:1 on aggregate to a Barca in second gear? Or Spurs playing the kids because they know they will lose? Mind you if Mahrez went to Barca he wouldn't get off their bench. If he really wants to play every game in the CL next year he should stick with us.
  17. It is a pretty dull match. I am keen to give it a go but I don't think the CL produces much good football.
  18. Only 2 teams have beaten the Hammers this season at Upton Park. Us and Bournemouth, and definitely not Spurs.
  19. Joey Barton very positive about us on 5Live this evening. Pointed out how we gave Man City a thrashing while Spurs scraped a 2:1. He may be a psycho but he has a good footballing brain.
  20. It will be difficult to equal this years perfomance next year. We will need to adapt to the Champions League, expand the squad while keeping the same team ethic and face a revised Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool and Man United. What goes up must come down. So enjoy it while it lasts, there will not be many seasons like this one, and trust in Claudio and the Thais to consolidate the position.
  21. It is part of the magic that we make other teams play badly. It happens every week. Looking forward to Arsenal. Its time to put in a bit of revenge for that 5:2 in September.
  22. Shinji Okasaki is having a party, Bring some Sushi and wasabi!
  23. Snide comments about other teams in response to their comments about us is surely the point of this thread.
  24. Only one song for the Spurs replay : "Can we play ou evety week..!
