  1. The step up is huge and playing U21 or U18 is no comparative and the welfare is paramount - the comments above suggested we throw him in because we have nothing to lose and he is leaving so it does not matter - my response was in reference to this in that this would be irresponsible and the club do know best. if you look at Alves and he was the next big thing but despite being thrown in early and still needs time to mature - Nyoni was and is a talent with Liverpool now nurturing his talent. For every one Foden or Nwaneri there are hundreds more who will promise so much at 15 but the step is huge to first team championship let alone prem football. i would personally trust the club and only they will know if he is ready - we can agree to disagree but the likes of Yamal or Bellingham are 1 in a million…
  2. Only ruining a young footballers career …….so much more than just throwing him in as his welfare and development come first and the club despite being a car crash in many ways should not be throwing 15 year olds into the first team
  3. Don’t want to see Faes ever again in a City Shirt - his attitude on Saturday and his ego far exceeds his ability !
  4. Clueless - out of his depth - yes, players are absolutely awful but set up and team selections including subs shows he has no idea.
  5. Nuno is a quality manager - time will tell on RVN
  6. Alves has not recovered fully from his injury and was not mature enough for the early recognition - the hype has not helped his development and he needs a loan in league one imo whereas Monga has something extra but whether we can keep him is another matter - like Nyoni his head has been turned unfortunately !
  7. Never ever going down with Dyche but now with Moyes no chance what so ever they get relegated - I would bet they get twice the amount of points we do between now and the end of the season - Moyes vs RVN is night and day in terms of ability
  8. Love the optimism and I hope you are right but cannot see us not conceding at least 2 and no idea where the goals come from !!
  9. The current situation and management since Vichai passed away is nothing short of shambolic and like many many on here I am as disillusioned as I have been over the past 10 years and probably feel as low as possible about our club. however and it’s a big however we should not forget the previous 111 years of our history which has nothing like the success and memories we have had. So many clubs have had poor ownership in the last 30 years and the Brighton, Newcastle ownership models whilst look great they have achieved nothing and I mean nothing yet ! The only ownerships which have transformed clubs really are Chelsea and Man City over the last 25 years and look how much money their owners threw at it and arguably with much much bigger clubs. I hope that a relatively young Chairman can see his way through this and sort the club out it needs some strong leadership and a clear plan with a reset. I am not being an old happy clapper just trying to add a bit of balance and sense that being ignorant to the achievements would be wrong and I like many hope Top can step into this and sort it!!
  10. The quality they have even with their injuries compared to us demonstrates the gulf and also reinforces the rubbish summer window we had - the players we brought in to make us prem ready were Skipp, Okoli, BCDR and Ayew yet none should be anywhere near the 11 yet we have no Ndidi, Riccy, Fatawu - just shows what a mess it was ! can only see a 3 or 4 goal defeat can’t see how we even compete with them tbh - sad state of affairs
  11. If you look back in the KS thread many on here were saying it’s time for him to go and he had lost it but whilst he undoubtedly had a dip he was still a massive dressing room leader and also one who was a winner and had the highest standards of professionalism - at the time it felt like a massive error in judgement and undoubtedly we would not have gone down had we kept him - when you look back we had a number of fantastic leaders in our champions team - Kasper, Huth, Morgan, Sharky, Kingy and Vards yet the club has done nothing to retain that in the back room or in the pitch with exception of Vards who is clearly a once in a lifetime striker - it’s baffling, confusing but when we look back probably the biggest error was letting Kasper leave !
  12. So sad that a football club that was looked upon as a role model back in 15/16 to this - it is currently really painful being a foxes fan and that’s not about being entitled it’s that we have no identity, poor leadership, players and look miles away from top to bottom as a club. It hurts watching us and yes I agree with lots of the anger but it is actually just bloody sad and personally I feel sorry for Vards a proper legend being part of this complete farce.
  13. Never ever ever a prem player - ridiculous that he is even in the squad let alone playing - like Skipp I have not worked out what he is actually good at!
  14. Won’t sack him now as we would look ridiculous and the financial impact is too big!
  15. and another 6 points lost - the time isn’t about the window closing but about the fixtures we will have blown in January Not sure it makes much difference as we needed a window above any other window ever seen as we probably needed 4 or 5 starters based upon the injuries we have and the lack of starting quality !
  16. That’s a stinker
  17. No chance - Everton and Ipswich will get more points than that - Wolves and Us alongside saints will be the 3 to go but it will be over 30 needed and we have not got a hope with this team, squad and manager.
  18. A poor preseason, woeful transfer window in the summer, poor management decisions and a genuine lack of prem quality - we are miles away. The biggest tell tale for me is that at the end of last season I would not have believed that I would swap Ipswich’s squad for ours yet a clear transfer policy has made them the most likely to stay up out of the promoted sides - they have spirit, quality, organisation and a quality manager - RvN has no idea about our squad as his subs tonight were ridiculous and the difference between McKenna and the bozo’s we have had is huge. we will not stay up and any transfers should absolutely have an eye on next season than less we are going to pull some rabbits out the hat and that would mean spending a fortune!
  19. Other than ruin a 15 year olds chances of developing as a pro and the club looking like they do not manage development - there are a number of players ahead of him in the queue who are more mature and worthy of squad places - he is undoubtedly a huge talent but like Alves the hype can kill you !
  20. IF and it’s a big IF we want to have a go at staying up we need the mother of all windows and it needs to start now - there are about 6 or 7 we must keep and everyone else should be fair game as they won’t help us between now and the end of the season - I include Okoli and Cannon in that - neither are good enough for a prem squad like another 7-8 of the squad and if we can raise funds now and let RVN get quality starters in I would back him 100%!
  21. Could not be more the opposite for me - he’s one of the players that got us relegated and although he stayed on it is only because no one would meet our valuation - hate his attitude and his inability to improve. he was one of the first I would have had out the building 18 months ago and be glad never to see him again in a blue shirt !
  22. He’s a liability sadly and RVN has recognised that - he is frenetic and lacks the ability needed to play the way he wants his full backs to plays - be good for everyone if we can find an upgrade !
  23. And pay 3 times the wages and he would have no interest in coming here !
  24. Take him here in a heart beat - he would shake this lot up and either keep us up or shape us up to comeback and stay up!!
  25. Because despite the current incompetence and lack of direction they have over the last 15 years invested and made the club infinitely better and more attractive than it ever was in its history. New owners can bring poor owners who don’t have the right intent let alone expertise and that could be the end of the club ! I would rather Top see that he needs to step up and maybe he cannot as his Dad was clearly a superb businessman and leader with maturity which only comes with experience so maybe Top can’t but I would still rather have these owners who have shown they love Leicester the City, community and our football club than a potential acquirer who could take us into the abyss! I maybe an exception but be careful what we wish for!!!
