No Peter Taylor will never be beaten -
I think you will be over estimating his net worth considerably after tax etc and amount paid out on costs etc he will not be destitute but will need a career after footy maybe in the media but a swansong in USA makes a lot of sense !

JV looks as sharp and fit as he has done in the last 3 years - his effort and work rate have changed as he has matured to protect his body. He is not only still our best striker by a mile but probably still one of the best finishers in the prem and how Arsenal, Chelsea or United would benefit from him in their squads !! Anyone suggesting he is part of the problem clearly is clueless - you cannot expect him to work like he did when he was 28 and it is very difficult to score goals when you don’t create any chances - the set up of this team and the players around JV are miles off it and he must be scratching his head at how did it come to this in his last year. Age is a number and he would be fine if part of a balanced attack with service and has actually looked really sharp and committed unlike about 15 others so if you want to criticise pick on those that don’t give a damn as Vards cares and is hurting as much as us !
-
You have clearly not watched him over a longer period of time - we can agree to disagree as he is at best championship level but also he is not a winger - we have a number of average ones of those who have perfected being average as a winger let’s play them ir actually what should be happening is a 3-5-2 or something different where we play WB’s and even then he would not be anywhere near the starting 11 - we need to accept like in the summer our one January signing was a waste of money

We can if we know we are going down whatever happens and I doubt even pep could save this lot! RVN was a ridiculous appointment and is clearly out of his depth but that does not mean the squad is any good - this lot with the exception of JJ, VK (he’s an awful player), Mads and Vardy do not give a damn - a number of them like Faes, VK, Soumare took us down 2 seasons ago and yet we believed they would be good enough to keep us up - no player should go onto the pitch and not run themselves into the ground make tackles and basically play for our club - I have not seen that under RVN at all - we are so inept and passive which is partly set up but also is about attitude and this lot can all do one - we need a complete back to basics and let RVN walk away with a relegation on his record like we should have done with Brendan ! -
Based upon what ? Some seem to have this fixation to turn a full back into a winger or change their positions - he is a right back and a bang average one - despite criticism Justin is a better play let’s end it there and sadly he is another example of rubbish recruitment
-
I agree with the he will leave and go on - depends how you gauge success he is rubbish and Thomas is a better prospect which says everything about how we have developed over the last 3-4 years

Ayew, Cordova-Reid, Buonanotte, Mavididi, McAteer ?

VK is completely clueless as a footballer I still don’t know what his qualities are and he always looks like a cat on a hot tin roof - even on Friday he showed Mbuemo inside onto his left foot which he promptly bent a shot into the net and stood there looking amazed yet anyone would know that is what Mbuemo is superb at - as for Mavi well he always looks like he is sulking and despite fantastic pace never seems to have a plan - I am with the posts on here we need to do something different whatever it is but we should not be relying on Faes, Ayew, BCDR, VK or Soumare to get us anywhere close to competitive - Vards must look around the dressing room and wonder how the hell it came to this ! -
We 100% need experience and someone who can build a team capable of going up and staying up - a manager who has experience in doing this and who has an aura of authority like NFP - the most obvious one and has a point to prove is Dyche if he would come and I would snatch your hand off for him leading our football team. We would have an identity that’s start with hard work and organisation plus we would not watch idiots like Faes and VK as he wants proper defenders !

Love to know who you think we will beat as I cannot see a win and whilst I sympathise with RVN he is clueless and limited imo but we were busted in the summer with probably the worst and most ridiculous transfer window ever - Skipp, Okoli, BCDR, Ayew, Edouard made no sense when you add Vesty contract it is nothing short of shambolic -
I think that supporters that abuse the ownership for investment are off the mark however it is clear that since Vichai passed we have been in decline. We will never ever live through the times we had but undoubtedly we have and are not performing like we should on and off the pitch - I am not a happy clapper despite my age and currently this is as disconnected as I have felt since the Shipman and Taylor management era. The gap between championship and prem is massive and the 3 worst teams/squads including management are the promoted sides and than less we make a big change it could be a long while before we get back and establish ourselves in the top flight. Wolves, Palace, Everton all have more talent and better managers than us and they have to be the target to stay up in future. We need a reset and investment overhaul which includes being brave and using some youth as this current crop are a disgrace and apart from 3 or 4 who are quality the rest can go. We will want a bright manager who can build a team but with quality investment - haphazard transfer policy will just continue the downward spiral.

Yes I agree I don’t dislike him either but sadly he is clueless as he does not seem to be flexible or know our best team - it’s weird he seems to make so many basic errors - mind this squad was never ever staying up -
They were not depleted defensively in fact they were stronger than all season - agreed limited in attack but still probably the best defence in the prem - let’s not twist the truth
-
Actually he could walk home in Cheshire and stay there !
-
Whilst I understand the point and Rodgers lost the plot the biggest single mistake we made was letting schmeichel go and we are regretting it now and it will only get worse - we would never have been relegated and would have had a chance to reset properly but tbf BR didn’t decide to let him go !

Facundo Buonanotte joins on loan - Official
Old Fox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He bloody well didn’t at Goodison last week - he was a disgrace like Faes, Winks and VK - never bother me if we didn’t see any of them again in a blue shirt …..wishful thinking but how Buanonotte does not get in this pile of rubbish i will never know -
The step up is huge and playing U21 or U18 is no comparative and the welfare is paramount - the comments above suggested we throw him in because we have nothing to lose and he is leaving so it does not matter - my response was in reference to this in that this would be irresponsible and the club do know best. if you look at Alves and he was the next big thing but despite being thrown in early and still needs time to mature - Nyoni was and is a talent with Liverpool now nurturing his talent. For every one Foden or Nwaneri there are hundreds more who will promise so much at 15 but the step is huge to first team championship let alone prem football. i would personally trust the club and only they will know if he is ready - we can agree to disagree but the likes of Yamal or Bellingham are 1 in a million…
-
Only ruining a young footballers career …….so much more than just throwing him in as his welfare and development come first and the club despite being a car crash in many ways should not be throwing 15 year olds into the first team
-
Don’t want to see Faes ever again in a City Shirt - his attitude on Saturday and his ego far exceeds his ability !

Clueless - out of his depth - yes, players are absolutely awful but set up and team selections including subs shows he has no idea. -
Nuno is a quality manager - time will tell on RVN
-
Alves has not recovered fully from his injury and was not mature enough for the early recognition - the hype has not helped his development and he needs a loan in league one imo whereas Monga has something extra but whether we can keep him is another matter - like Nyoni his head has been turned unfortunately !
-
Never ever going down with Dyche but now with Moyes no chance what so ever they get relegated - I would bet they get twice the amount of points we do between now and the end of the season - Moyes vs RVN is night and day in terms of ability
-
Love the optimism and I hope you are right but cannot see us not conceding at least 2 and no idea where the goals come from !!
-
The current situation and management since Vichai passed away is nothing short of shambolic and like many many on here I am as disillusioned as I have been over the past 10 years and probably feel as low as possible about our club. however and it’s a big however we should not forget the previous 111 years of our history which has nothing like the success and memories we have had. So many clubs have had poor ownership in the last 30 years and the Brighton, Newcastle ownership models whilst look great they have achieved nothing and I mean nothing yet ! The only ownerships which have transformed clubs really are Chelsea and Man City over the last 25 years and look how much money their owners threw at it and arguably with much much bigger clubs. I hope that a relatively young Chairman can see his way through this and sort the club out it needs some strong leadership and a clear plan with a reset. I am not being an old happy clapper just trying to add a bit of balance and sense that being ignorant to the achievements would be wrong and I like many hope Top can step into this and sort it!!
