  1. Would love to know why the club deemed the potential loan moves that came in for him not suitable.
  2. I'd not be against Schmidt either but his tactics are quite extreme that they can take time to implement / get worked out by the opposition. He was also criticised in the past for how he handled young players coming through, Madueke for example so I'm on the fence with him.
  3. Aren't we 19th for xG this season? Grim.
  4. I most certainly expected more than 4 points from the opening 5, especially once we'd got a few more players through the door and especially after the transfer window shut. Those defending Cooper are jumping on the negativity that's shrouded the place all summer than many predicted we'd be comfortably relegated this season. Even if that remained unaffected after some of the business we got done, the causation of that is very much being orchestrated by Cooper so it's not reason enough to keep as because we're likely to go down anyway. I'm glad he recognised at home vs the likes of Everton we needed a creative central midfielder in but bar that tweak, his decision making on Saturday was extremely bothersome.
  5. This is actually staggering. I could understand Cooper's decision not to give him a single minute in the PL if he didn't rate him. But to claim he does, whilst Justin has seen 75% of our goals conceded come down his side of the pitch is damning. I've never known a manager make so many baffling decisions from the off as Cooper. I hope it all sorts itself out but it's not looking promising.
  6. Niko Kovac would possibly be an unrealistic target but he'd be my standout choice from available managers. Strong track record at bringing through academy players and developing young players.
  7. He will get those games bare minimum. And you're right, if we don't get 2 wins from our next 5 then I can't see how they can persist with him, not without some serious signs of promise. His tenure feels very similar to Shakespeare's in 2017/18 and they acted quickly there, probably the only time they ever have.
  8. I'm looking forward to this more than the league games squad selection wise, how can't you be.
  9. This would be my team too. We don't lose anything defensively by playing Fatawu over Ayew. Fatawu is also as good in the air too. At least this gives us a small chance of creating some dangerous counter attacks too.
  10. I like a manager to have the bravery to develop players whilst in pressure situations, so I've no problem with that at all. But I don't even think it's that, Cooper is very safety first in that regard.
  11. I've been critical of Cooper not really being overly brave at picking creative players and/or young players, so I'll give credit for sticking him in and hopefully not just as a token gesture. It'll take time and I do think Bounanotte is more equipped to make an impact from the start as it stands but things change quickly. Interesting comments from Cooper about Bilal being ours, which may have been an insinuation about prioritising Facundo over him not being as worthwhile.
  12. He'll look to get as much height in to the side as possible, so expect Edouard to start.
  13. Iversen Ricardo Coady Vestergaard Thomas Skipp El Khannouss McAteer Bounanotte Alves Edouard
  14. To be fair I would play that. Alves LW El Khannouss ACM Bounanotte RW
  15. Steve will probably choose tomorrow as the day to send Alves back to the U21s as well.
  16. No, Cooper is his boss. Cooper's superior is Rudkin and Top.
  17. I thought he played well yesterday but admittedly almost every action in the final third was a calamity.
  18. Yet in any other profession, if there were some things you weren't happy about with your boss you'd be encouraged to discuss with their superiors. I do have a degree of sympathy with Vestergaard as there was evidently a lot of time and effort spent extending his contract and then we've appointed a manager that doesn't utilise his strengths. Another baffling decision all round.
  19. His best display in a Leicester shirt by some distance. He was unplayable.
  20. The players barely ever went near him during intervals in play for instruction either, very odd.
  21. He was way off it all game. Couldn't get near to his man to close him down, was surprisingly weak on a couple of occasions and dispossessed. He just doesn't look match fit to me, or is this just how limited he is? My anger towards signing him was because I always feared he was coming here to be one of Cooper's first names on the team sheet. He will take the captains armband in the not too distant future too, if Cooper is somehow still here. He's a fringe player at best, or should be. Playing him for 90 yesterday took my breath away, it really did. And not in a good way.
  22. Enjoyed parts of it, whilst others scared the living shit out of me. Which has been the case for all 5 PL games. Absolutely astonishing decision making once again from Cooper though. I've reached a point I'm not even going to resort to getting angry anymore. It's wasted on him, he hasn't got a clue. Any serious manager goes for the jugular at 1-1, Everton looked done. Any serious manager looks Ayew and Justin who couldn't get within 5 yards of their man all game. Any serious manager understands they've just witnessed Mavididi putting in his best display in a Leicester shirt and that he's on a one man mission to prove he belongs at this level and it was taking up so much resource and focus from Everton to deal with him that Fatawu would have been too much for them to deal with as well. So galling to see such cowardice. I'm not letting him ruin my weekend again though. Genuinely took me last week until about Wednesday to stop wanting to take bodies. Just counting down the days until we can draw a line under this regime. Instead I'll focus on how good Mavididi was and to a lesser degree Ndidi was spot on again.
  23. Fatawu's defensive stats will be as good, if not better than Ayew's. Also, the one quality we were told that Ayew brings is his ability to see results out for us. Yet his fitness levels currently don't look like he can do 90 minutes. He was pretty poor vs Palace after what had looked to be a promising home debut in the league vs Villa. We simply cannot play that midfield three and someone like Ayew and expect to do enough to win football matches.
  24. Aka when a Peter's dry sausage roll meets a Walls Scotch egg
  25. If The Foxes Trust have any credibility, they'd demand the club provide evidence to back up some of this. In particular proof that the singing section take up has been lower than expected. Incredible
