  1. Blokes gone from crying (happy tears we were told) in his car with his wife at signing for Leicester to his camp continually insinuating he's looking to leave. The feelings mutual Wout.
  2. Players know they face competition, the fact is there isn't ANY competition for places at right back currently. I really don't see the harm in telling us, we're moving in to the territory of Ruud's responses being very vague and it's a shame as he's very personable and articulate when he wants to be.
  3. OK, Conor Coady then. Played at emergency right back under RvN already too. NEXT
  4. Call it as I see it, he's making some bizarre decisions. Still back him but not going to pretend he's silk kegs right now either. The importance is if he's different to most managers and learns from his mistakes.
  5. Just tell us what positions we are focusing on Ruud it's hardly that deep. Does he really think a clubs going to stick another £1m on because we say we want a right back vs not telling the world we want a right back but still bidding on a right back?
  6. 😂 I made my mind up on Cooper based on him not starting Alves vs Palermo in pre-season and here we are again basing a managers future on Will Alves. They just don't get it. Although Ron's first misdemeanour was Ward vs Wolves. Mind boggling.
  7. Bobby Reid has played more at right back or RWB than Hamza Choudhury has.
  8. McAteer had a similar struggle at Forest Green as Braybrooke has in a lack of minutes. His spell at Wimbledon was mildly better but certainly didn't point to being pretty important the next season in the Championship. Braybrooke has plenty of ability, he just needs game time and a club that will prioritise him over players they own (not always a given)
  9. Whilst many will say £3m is nothing, we'd not get £3m for a player on low wages with just 6 months of their contract remaining. This should be a nominal fee at most.
  10. Really logical choice to have him on the bench on Saturday over Alves. Well done Ruud.
  11. Pretty sure it was well reported that Braybrooke had many offers and specifically chose Dundee as the manager was instrumental in Maddison's successful loan spell at Aberdeen.
  12. That centre back really ought to be left footed and can play LB/CDM too to give us the options to play inverted full back. I wonder if Ruud might try and go for Noa Lang at LW
  13. Someone at the club needs to point out our success rate at trying to bring in proven PL players is appalling.
  14. This is what we have to put up with under a Martyn Glover led recruitment team. Hideous
  15. Not so sure we're any better defensively without him, we still ship obscene amounts of goals if not more since he was injured/dropped. Coady isn't at the level. I like Okoli so any 2 of those 3.
  16. Good God no. I'd rather keep Luke Thomas. This would be a permanent transfer as well given we've already got 2 PL loans.
  17. Bounanotte is streets ahead of Ayew in almost every area. It can't even be said that Ayew is in for his ability to help out defensively, he can't get anywhere near the opposition to help. I much prefer him as a sub coming on to win tactical fouls and hold the ball up.
  18. FFS we're lumbered with Odsonne then
  19. I personally think he was an absolute liability when he was ever deployed there. A walking penalty giver.
  20. Need a big game from Winks and Soumare, we need to win the midfield battle and try to nullify the threats through to their attack. I recall Winks being very poor in the 2nd half at Selhurst Park and we eventually paid the price. Him and Soumare are the only twio viable players right now for that position though. Bounanotte and El Khannouss have to play together. It's no coincidence we keep losing football games that Jordan Ayew starts in, he can't get near the opposition. Stolarczyk Justin Faes Okoli/Vestergaard Kristiansen Winks Soumare Bounanotte El Khannouss Mavididi Vardy
  21. I'd be amazed if i ever see a clean sheet from us again in my lifetime. I'm only twelve as well.
  22. Yes he can play for another team who's season runs differently to summer to summer.
  23. Get Braybrooke back and on loan again. Some moves just don't work out. Kasey McAteer barely got a sniff at Forest Green Rovers and was only marginally more successful at Wimbledon but he at least played more and then came back and Enzo used him immediately.
  24. Garry Gannan
