  1. Where's he said that? We want midfielders and attackers.
  2. Nanasi is the ideal player for the WG/number 10 off the left as well.
  3. That's Reece Evans is it not? Jake Evans is the left footed winger who's extremely highly rated and scored twice to win the U16 PL Cup?? If we've released him then that's outrageous.
  4. I think it's a risk we have to take that we use him and the vultures will circle and be in his agents ear to join them next summer. We'd be in for compensation that would be at least £5-10m based on what some academy players go for without much 1st team football. If anything it would be better to play him in the 1st team to increase that if he were to leave. However, I suspect if we are serious about using him this season then he'll sign a new deal.
  5. If he doesn't build his team around Fatawu at RW then he can do one as far as i'm concerned.
  6. Of his 13 assists last season, there was a good few from crosses were there not? Also remember some absolute sitters missed by certain players too.
  7. New contract required ASAP
  8. He played largely as a right winger but was cutting in in a free role. I actually thought he favoured his left foot when I watched him in pre-season last year but tonight and in clips at Vollendam he seems to be very fluid on either foot. I really hope we don't let him leave for a pittance as there's a player there I'm convinced.
  9. 1 nil - Zach Booth. By far the best player on the pitch.
  10. Zac Booth best player on the pitch, just scored a ripper.
  11. The likes of Zach Booth, Pennant, Ali, Amartey and Ewing are on the bench. Lindsay, Grist, Cartwright, Raikhy, Richards, Popov all playing. No sign of the promising U18s in Jake Evans, Monga, Hutchinson, King etc.
  12. Early days I know but disappointing not to be trying Alves, Braybrooke or Golding in a criminally weak midfield. Hopefully they all get minutes. I'm off down Barwell, will report back who's playing.
  13. There we have it, 97th percentile for crossing is obscene.
  14. Fatawu is superb at crossing and general creativity, his one weakness is finishing.
  15. From what I gather yes and word on the street is both management and staff are very impressed with Ward.
  16. That were diabolical Campbell!!! Horrid
  17. May well have a long term injury....
  18. Fluffer for Weghorst, INJECT IT
  19. It's right up there with the most unnecessary relegations in PL history. Underperformance at its finest. Then when you see what's unravelled financially that many fans presume is a consequence of relegation rather than the major failings in the 2+ years before relegation and some of us are still angry. I carve our ownership tenure up in to two spells pre and post the death of Vichai. Despite winning major honours in both that should surpass any failings for a club our size, I am not proud of our club in recent years. Our achievements will be cherished for a lifetime but it's reasonable for our fans to eant to hold the current ownership to account.
  20. I'm heading down with my son.
  21. I don't think we have yet agreed that but if so I think it's via the intermedatory and we need to action it. If it's all setup and as Percy said, the club are confident we can wrap the deal up once so.
  22. There's a middle man doing this on our side for some reason. So it'll be fascinating if we are in unison with them on it or whether it's all set up and we still fail to get it done. It requires us to be bullish about our offer that Juventus will agree to. Sounds to me like we haven't done that part yet even though Juve are open to it.
