  1. That is not known yet, certainly not 25/26 but you'd imagine if we couldn't evidence how we will comply this season then the EFL would have put us under a transfer embargo and strict business plan. In the EFL it doesn't matter if you end up complying by 30th June by frantically selling players, if there's not evidence of how you'll comply then they'll act. As the 23/24 charges are still unresolved, we'll not have any bro8ght from 24/25 if we did breach. This was the case last season when the PL announced no club had breached 23/24 but as soon as it was resolved that the 22/23 charges couldn't be applied then they announced the 23/24 breach. It's murky, I think we will be struggling for many years to come.
  2. Wow didn't realise that. We really could be in horrendous trouble if we drop. Not sure I agree with the limit to spend generated from player sales.
  3. Which is remarkably close to the amount he has left on his book value 😂
  4. I think in League One, owners can pump investment in.
  5. My memory is a little hazy, so the PL tried to appeal the arbitration panel despite there having to be grounds to prove they acted unethically/unlawfully in overturning the IC decision? I thought that was only mooted that they might.
  6. There's frivolety in the middle east and then there's absolute absurdity. I highly doubt it when they could have waited 6 months for him and just paid a signing on fee. Think his remaining book value for 25/26 was £3.4m so we'd be lucky to have got that + wages saved for the rest of the season.
  7. Call Cartwright back if there's not enough funds to get a striker and at least one CM in.
  8. Yeah it's probably expected that the club would do that but it is typical of the outcome being worse for us than had we not tried to be clever.
  9. Managed to see off Cooper, RvN and Cifuentes who all had had enough of him and come back in to the fold each time. Do not make the same mistake again Andy.
  10. Cifuentes mistake was trying to give a clean slate to players at the start of the season who didn't want to be here at the sacrifice of bringing through academy players. I think all the feel good factor of a new manager quickly evaporated and by the time he reverted back to what he said he'd do, he'd lost the squad. Whilst we have very little choice in midfield, I think King needs to be firm. He's got very little to lose here as an interim, i'd be demanding players brought in in the next few days otherwise he'll field nearly a full academy side for the rest of the season and if they are inconsistent and we get pulled in to a relegation battle then so be it to the club.
  11. It should have been last season had we not delayed submitting our accounts?. For it to drag on two more seasons where we've been the absolute pits in both would sum us up.
  12. I actually hope we get relegated. The question that none of the media asked which I would have loved to see him squirm about would be in relation to our appalling business, or lack of in January transfer windows. Only signed Ryan Bennett in January 2020, nobody in January 2021, nobody in January 2024, only Coulibaly in January 2025 and looking zero like January 2026 too. When 20 and 21 cost us top 4, 24 nearly cost us automatic promotion and last season cost us staying up. If we don't get anyone in in the next few days we stand a chance of going down.....
  13. Che Adams not doing much at Torino this season after being very good last year. Wasserman client, from Leicester, you do the math.
  14. Should be doing workshops up and down the country on how not to do it.
  15. I wonder if we've been fed hook, line and sinker on how difficult it is to move players on that flop. Wrexham certainly have some financial flexibility to cut some losses on this but we'd not be able to.
  16. Agreed, last summer I predicted them to get promoted 😂
  17. I hope King takes one look at the current first team squad he has available and goes brave and puts Mavididi through the middle with Monga out wide or even braver starts Otchere or Hutchinson up top 😂😂😂
  18. Yeah I was bullish about RvN but the point is he flopped massively and it's just a catalogue of errors yet somehow has escaped scrutiny. Only the manager and players seemingly under the microscope on the football operations, which is so naive.
  19. Yes I think we were under Mandaric
  20. A question Top should have been asked in the midst of lauding praise upon JR. We were trying to secure Marsch on a 3 year contract in April 2023 which would have rendered any back slapping about Maresca irrelevant. What DoF worth his salt has been part of a managerial chain in the last 3 years of trying to get Marsch, getting Dean Smith. A brief bright spark of Enzo, followed by Cooper/RvN/Cifuentes all in a year. Appalling.
  21. I've long wanted to see a series done of what's become of the likes of Martin Jol, David O'Leary, Billy Davies etc. I'd go for a manager not seen hide nor hare of in decades. Jean Tigana
  22. Hahahaa it's not cost, they record the games anyway. The cost to then stream them would not be troublesome.
