  1. Probably prefer it to the mere 4 appearances he's had all season.
  2. He comes on with 10-15 to go.
  3. He was really highly thought of a few years ago, we were linked a number of times. They are building a very decent side. Giles, Carvalho, OmΓΌr is a strong January transfer window. Could do with then taking some points off our rivals and us owing them one for earlier in the season.
  4. 100% this is a weapon we ought to use when he's back. He's so good at clearing crosses and corners.
  5. The place to see seemingly for career progression. Look at Barco too, set for Man City, goes to Brighton. Reputation now takes care of itself.
  6. West Ham pay big wages as well, so this is evidence of a club being able to find buyers for their squad players and both parties agree fees and wages that make the deals happen. Dream world.
  7. Pain is just emotion trapped inside the body πŸ˜₯
  8. I'm going up Seagrave with a Vienetta.
  9. I suspect we have no qualms about wasting a players time coming over here and going through it all even if it's highly unlikely we'll sign them without a huge development πŸ˜‚
  10. It was Leeds who pulled the plug. We'd agreed a Β£20m fee and over Β£100k a week wages (Phil Hay confirmed this)
  11. It'll be interesting to see if we go up, whether Enzo can fare better at being able to prevent the team being constantly out of position when attacking but even more so when defending.
  12. A one year extension would be fine with me, anything more than that and I fear we will be in the same situation with him as before. Any other LCFC manager probably doesn't use him either.
  13. It's usually me with the off the mark comments πŸ˜‚
  14. Yeah there's definitely something in the way we play but on the flip side we don't only sign players that have come from sides that play inverted full backs etc. Enzo is able to spot qualities in players to use in his system. He's taken McAteer who had 2 loan spells with mixed success and seems to really rate him. He's managed to turn Ndidi in to a more well rounded midfielder etc. It's players like Maswanhise and Wanya who need to play, those that have been around the 1st team for a few years but not gotten a chance or chances are now very limited. Nelson got 2 loan spells last season and is now very close to the 1st team. I think our 1st team could cope without them too even in case of injuries.
  15. Just checked Southampton and Leeds and they aren't much better than us this season in loaning out academy players.
  16. No chance. Rudkin would survive over every employee of Leicester City, quote possibly even Susan Whelan. Top trusts Rudkin unflinchingly.
  17. I respect your posts and knowledge. Wish we'd get to read more of them πŸ™‚ Not suggesting it's easy, but that's entirely what the structure has been put in place for. I'm going to do some research on academy loans, like I did on 1st team transfers where we were shown to be well below pur rivals in getting transfer fees for players we no longer wanted.
  18. Outs: None Ins: None
  19. There's bound to be false hope early tomorrow on this, only to see it fizzle out to nothing.
  20. Nothing to see here. πŸ˜‚
  21. Hadn't Iraq been knocked out though?
  22. Sure and it's often a reputation thing, I feel we're at an impasse where we're not a club to go to to loan academy players like some clubs are. Maybe as well some of them are victims of not standing out in games because its's a process of getting 1st team ready for us, as opposed to being attractive to other clubs that's more obvious if the academy is putting in strong performances. I've not done the research but I'd not be surprised to see us below our rivals at loaning out academy players in this regard.
  23. Frustration blinkers fans. The groans last night have caused amnesia it seems.
  24. Please can you expand on this. What different approaches and when in games? Genuinely interested.
  25. Do we not have both already? The amount of goals we've scored on the counter or direct football deployed is nowhere near as scarce as some of our fans make out. There's absolutely no concession with our fans. The football needs to be in generally fast and furious and then suddenly be very capable of possession football that controls games in the last 10 minutes to see wins out.
