We were linked with him in the summer. He had a great season in 2022/23 after being converted from a left wing back to a right winger. Been less impressive this season by all accounts. He's not as good as Fatawu but perhaps the club aren't as impressed with Yunus so far.

We already have Mavididi and Fatawu. I would like someone to ease the burden on them but both would expect to be 1st choice.

Who do you want for next season in the PL

Yeah, he really doesn't suit their system either. -

Not scoring anywhere near enough in the Championship. I like parts of his game but he's not a lone striker that you can rely on for goals. Maybe in our system that's fine but I want a pure bagsman. -
Yes, he's doing a very mediocre/poor job with the squad he's got.

I don't recall incidents of this happening with obligation to buys. It's pretty much all on the buying club. -
Yeah their fixtures are very kind and then they have a very difficult stretch towards the end of the season. For all the praise they are getting for a 17 match unbeaten run, across the 17 games they are level on points with us who have lost 2 and drew 2 in that time. It must be horrendous trying to stop us.

Very professional performance which had the potential to be a slog given the amount of games we've had recently and largely remained unchanged. I thought 1st half we got a bit passive in the final 20 minutes and Winks and Hamza were struggling to get the ball moving, nor were they anticipating the defensive side of the game well either. 2nd half that completely changed and they were both excellent. Fatawu was sublime and Mavididi once again was relentless. Great goal from Justin and I think we should take a moment to appreciate him. It seemed a huge blow when Doyle did his knee and Justin up to that point had had to remain very patient. Since he's come in, he's largely been quality and since the Watford home game through to tonight he's been phenomenal. Long may he remain fit and continue to play like this. KDH continues his immense form and it was another brilliant goal from him. 20 wins from 25, 8 clear of Ipswich, 11 clear of Brussell and 17 clear of Leeds. Happy New Year 😂- 215 replies

Praet is beyond words. Genuinely up there with the likes of Lee Morris and Matty James for unavailability.
-
Was hoping it would be a 23 man squad. I think at 27 he sadly gets picked.
-
Winks and Choudhury have been far too passive tonight.

Only thing that's at play here is Euro 2024. Moving next month potentially saves his international career and for some players that might sway them to waive the financial bonus of being sold.

Daka's ability to press and Iheanacho's inability to press is the difference in this system. We started to toil in November and I think teams had worked out how to play against us. We were spending far too long passing around at the back and inviting the opposition press and then when the opposition had the ball in the same areas, we couldn't apply the same pressure to overturn it. We have won the ball up high more times in the last 5-6 games than we had for a long while. Daka is the focal point of that, along with KDH and Ndidi. Finally we have a pack that can do it and hurt teams. Whether you want to pick fault with Daka scoring 2 tap ins, you could argue Iheanacho doesn't get in those positions for whatever reason often enough. I've also been impressed with Daka's hold up play. He's dropped deep and created two goals recently, this is a part of his game that was the utter pits as well. Right now he is the stand out choice. Iheanacho needs to earn the right to get back in and take his chance. It shouldn't be underestimated how difficult it is to take your chance when you get it either, pressure is on. Maybe that's what Iheanacho needs, he certainly seemed able to deal with that in periods of his Leicester career where he's come in from the wilderness and then gone on a scoring spree. But he needs to work on his pressing, he's done it occasionally but for whatever reason he doesn't apply it enough.

Yeah, it's an anomaly as he scores ridiculous amounts for Australia. I get the difference in class but the chances he missed last season were not difficult chances and his height and positions he takes up when attacking the box are generally good.

Harry Souttar winner please

Should have checked the gallery 😂😂😂

Am I going blind or is KDH not in the latest training video? Looks like Wanya is back training, so @ramadaone must mean Alves and Braybrooke are both still out for ages. Bugger.

Get him gone. Since his return from Torino a few years ago, he's proven himself to be highly unreliable. So much so, its hard not to suspect some of it is deliberate. He doesn't want to be here and will be going come the summer anyway. He's got the ability at this level but I'm sick of him. Get Torino to cover his wages for the rest of the season and let's work quickly on a central midfielder who can hit the ground running whilst Wilf goes to AFCON.

Massive shout that. You can tell he's going to be a talent, reminds me of Hlozek at a similar age -
Still think Fatawu will end up staying.
-
The front three of Mavididi Daka Fatawu is without question our strongest. Fitness permitting, they need to start every league game until AFCON. I'm very surprised Cannon didn't come on vs Rotherham or last night. Iheanacho is pretty much done here IMO.

Astonished if he doesn't get player of the month. About hundred goals and assists.

Sums the average football fan up mate. Easier to be crap all the while than occasionally with our fans.

Potential little taster of how January might hurt us with KDH, Fatawu, Daka and co going. The likes of Praet, Cannon, Casadei and Yunus really need to step up. It will be galling if we get to mod Feb and our lead is cut.
