For me, I'm less interested in the likes of Big Wedge, Fore Bros, Golf Mates, Golf Life, Bob Does Sports etc. all pissing about, and I'd prefer to watch better YT golfers such as the Bryan Bros, Grant Horvat, Brad Dalke, Bryson, Poulter etc. Agree Peter Finch's channel is very good but it's such a saturated market these days. Theres way to many bang average pro's knocking out the same content week in week out. My go to YT golf channels are more around podcasts/news/information such as Fried Egg, No Laying up, and Dan on Golf and the official channels of DPWorld, The R&A, Ryder Cup etc.

Decided to put new turf down in the end. Cost about £750 but so much quicker and easier than seeding. Been watering it twice a day for the last 2 weeks and today was the first mow (had mower on highest setting so grass is still pretty long)

Can't say I learnt very much. It's clearly aimed an a genefric Netflix audience rather than golf sicko's. And Amanda Ballionis' fake smile makes me want to puke. Can't believe Rory was (alledgedly) banging her. Thought it was way too heavily weighted to the US RC team picks and there was very little on the Masters and absolutely nothing about the Open. Strikes me they had their budget cut massively for this season and I'll be surprised if it carries on. I sense the players have had enough of the cameras up their nose 24/7 I think what the PGA Tour is doing with NFL films for behind the scenes stuff is way better.

I can only imagine McLaren made him an offer too good to refuse (and a free car...) but yeah, the timing is a bit strange.

My understanding is that since he's been a free agent after splitting from Honma, he's been playing Miura irons. Rumour has it that Miura are making these irons for McLaren with Rose's exact spec but that's not been confirmed. I guess these McLaren 4-PW irons are only part of his set up though so not sure it'll have that big of an impact. I think he's still using the Calloway driver, TM mini driver/fairway wood, and Vokey wedges. Edit: A bit more digging suggests that McLaren are in fact making these irons themselves. Sounds like they've poached key people from the big 5 and have a proper manufacturing set up in place.

Be interesting to see how Rosey get on with his new McLaren irons this weekend. The 'game improvement' clubs for your average golfer are about £360 per iron so I imagine the blades/players version clubs will be even more expensive. I think they look great. Love the bag.

I can't see LIV surviving without the Saudi PIF money funding it. Guess they've had enough having lost over a $billion since it's inception. I doubt any other investers will touch it in it's current format and certainly won't put up a $25m purse for each event or offer $100m+ contracts. Will be intersting to see how it all pans out but I imagine it will die a slow, painful death and the LIV players will all be homeless by the end of the season and begging to come back on the PGA/DPWorld tours with their tails between their legs. The whole idea was doomed from the start and the vast majority of golf fans will be delighted to see it all crash and burn.

I used to get wound up back in the day but as I've got older and more mellow I don't let it affect me anymore. I play with a bloke in his mid 30's who's off scratch and I've seen him shoot 68/69 on a few occasions. I've also seen him score 85/86 if he gets off to a poor start. He's capable of birdieing every hole but if he starts with a bogey in the first few holes he get's the hump and pretty much gives up on his score. I've seen many club golfers over the years with so much natural talent but mentally they're just not at the races. Golf is a mental game!

A 9 on a par 3 is impressive I eagled our par 5 ninth hole on Thursday, then parred the 10th which is stroke index 1, then holed my greenside bunker shot for birdie on the 11th. Then double bogeyed the 12th, 13th and 14th
