  1. One more goal (and assuming Derby don't score) we stay in the top half! Still sh*t though
  2. I'm not convinced we have a coach at all No one at the club has a clue
  3. Just so I'm understanding this correct To get back into this game We do nothing for 63 minutes We then take Jordan James off - who is one of the few sparks of positives we have had this season We decide to play a winger out of position up front - a person who has never scored a professional goal in over 30 games Wait 10 minutes and then take off the player most likely to create something from nothing
  4. No Changes? Same again for the 2nd half lads
  5. 3-0 at Half Time (or worse) three times in four weeks... is unacceptable No doubt Marti will come out and say yeah we were not good enough in the first half - but we'll do the same next week or we could lead 3-0 to be fair I have no idea - it's just pot luck
  6. 3-0 at Half Time (or worse) three times in four weeks... this is unacceptable for any manager
  7. Can you remind the players - they appear to have walked out after 5 minutes
  8. And there recruitment manager
  9. Well the effort could not last long. This team concedes one goal early and they fall apart - Mentality as strong as a house made out of cards in a hurricane, but organised slightly worse
  10. Sorry, It was an opinion - not factual about what will happen - I don't work for the club giving an insight to clubs decision making You are right our board won't be clever enough to offer a low salary with higher bonues based on appearances... but in my opinion that has to be the approach if we are signing Antonio
  11. If we do sign him it has to be effectively a pay as you play contract with performance bonuses
  12. Leicester have lost nine home league games in 2025 – only twice before have they lost more: 10 in both 1914 and 2007.
  13. I suggest the opposite. Our squad can't even play for more than 45 minutes - how much worse can he be - especially as he has clearly got the motivation to return to fitness (at 34 he could have easily retired) and motivation is something our squad lacks
  14. Justin / Doyle also gave us more options at the back Casadei / Akgun were better options of the bench to cover midfield McAteer chipped in with 6 goals Coady and Cannon also played 10 games or more... so that makes14 players with 10 or more games two seasons ago that are not here - so I agree with you it is a very different team Also the Faes and Winks were 2 very different players back then
  15. Sorry you are right he has not been capped, but he was in the Italy squad in 2024
  16. True I forgot Daka would be putting himself in the shop window in Africa - in that case hopefully we can ship him out for a fee too
  17. Although I think a number 9 is what we need the most, I think we will see most movement in defence Faes, Okoli and Kristiansen have all played for their International teams in the past 2 years and will surely be looking for first team football to attempt to get to the World Cup (although none of them are actually good enough - I expect they have thoughts of grandeur) Although I don't believe this will weaken our starting 11, we will need to bring in reinforcements Soumare is popular in Europe, so we maybe able to get a fee for him. Unfortunately I can see Ayew, Daka and Winks sitting out their contracts here - I don't see anyone paying Winks wages and I think he doesn't care about being frozen out.
  18. Millwall like Dickheads - I think they will be well suited to each other
  19. Yep - he should have been sent off What a shame for Coventry that a decision went against them, hopefully that will form a crack in them and start a run of form that drags them back into a battle instead of running away with it. Ipswich showed that they are only an average side
  20. He is still young for a goalkeeper and learning the trade. His game time for us is seeing him improve significantly over the last year and with us having so many other areas we need to strengthen then we shouldn't be spending on a new GK and keep developing him. His shot-stopping is good, his command of the area and aerial ability on crosses has vastly improved. He is becoming reliable and reducing his mistakes. My main criticism is when saving shots he needs to parry away from the danger areas more... but hopefully we will see this improve as he continues as our number 1
  21. I honestly don't think it matters It is the players attitude that depends how we play and the last three managers don't appear to be able to influence that. I don't think he has done enough for me to say yes I want to keep him, but I am far from the Marti out group too We appear to go defensive in the second half too much when winning, and drop far too deep, but is that His tactics or the players just expecting the worse and getting nervous after such a poor season
  22. It will be 3-0 at half time But which team is winning will depend whether you get a Leicester 11 that gives a damn or not
  23. Maybe doing a complete U-turn on him Based on his last game and a half maybe he does have a future here He actually has been playing with effort But maybe I should wait to see if it lasts a few more games
  24. We need to sign him permanently - arguably our best signing for years and a player who sounds from interviews and his actions on the pitch to be a player who wants to be here and cares about the club - or at least has the pride and professionalism to give his all And yes I'm glad Nelson has taken his chance and made himself our first choice centre back
  25. It is the 2nd half that is an example of the issues with Marti as a manager - we are better than this and we will continue this negative momentum in the 1st half at Bristol City
