Albrighton should never have played for England. Couldn’t beat a man, didn’t score goals, didn’t really get assists. People go overboard on his crossing like he was Trent but it was largely slinging an early ball in because he couldn’t take his full back on. Fans took to him because of his world class attitude and I loved him because he always popped up with big European goals but in terms of actual ability he wasn’t very good for this level.
