So my ‘source’ works in event management, I don’t think he works directly for oakview but he’s been working at the club for a year or so. At the start of the season the club told them in other words probably but to spare no expense in regards to hospitality and according to him it’s one of the biggest contracts they have, all was relatively fine until the last 6 weeks where they’ve had to chase payment and they got told by the club that they couldn’t afford to make a payment but if they would carry on as normal and they’ll try and sort at the end of the season. Apparently there’s been a fair few managers and technicians that have told them they’re not going to work until it’s paid which is a ‘logistical nightmare’. Sorry if that is a ramble to read and there’s a lot of holes in it as I know absolutely nothing about hospitality and especially hospitality contracts so I’m trying to remember all the details, all I know for certain is is that they owe 40k. I asked him whether it could just be a cash flow problem and could well be sorted at the end of the season but he said this has only happened to him twice and one was Preston and Bolton and neither ended up paying

Its all guesswork at this point due to Rudkinomics. It also depends on whether any of the players are willing to drop a year or two lottery winning contracts to go and play for someone they previously thought they were above, and even whether they have any suiters. Im expecting a fire sale but also wouldn't be surprised if were still stuck with a lot of the losers already on big wages. Until they prove us wrong it'll likely be a load of smoke and mirrors with them feeding certain journalists tidbits like were ready to bring in so many players but it depends on the sales of so many, and eventually fizzles out despite a couple of relatively exciting players being linked and 'in advanced talks'. We also need a proper manager and one that can clear the decks properly and based off their track record we know for a fact no proper manager will touch them with a barge pole so in conclusion it's looking seriously bleak
