  1. I have no problem if he does go. Its not unexpected considering how he left his boyhood club to join us. He's had a successful 2 and half years here and improved his reputation but unlikely to break into that top 4 with us and therefore won't get a chance at the Man City, Chelsea or Man Utd as discussed. Having the money of Newcastle may be his best bet to actually break into that top 4 but it's a major rebuild. He'd be putting his reputation on the line but he'll back himself to deliver. My only wish is we have an idea of who we'd want to replace him with and doesn't add too much more disruption to an awful start to our season.
  2. He's magic you knooooooooww!!!
  3. Football World has gone mad
  4. I like Graham Potter, he's managed at Europa League level too. He'd be my realistic choice
  5. Well asking to close the thread when he's quite possible he leaves in the near future is ridiculous.. There is clearly a discussion to be had.
  6. That's the only difference with us. We have everything for him here except unlimited resources. For us to break into the 'elite' it would take us another 10 years of continuous European football to bridge the gap a little financially and even then we would struggle to compete money wise. Be interesting to see what happens with Newcastle whether they go for Rodgers or not.
  7. Why has he been replaced already? Or will he be with us forever?
  8. So who are going for then?
  9. Can easily see this happening. We'll get good compensation for him going, I just hope we are being proactive with managerial replacements rather than reactive.
  10. They won't be looking at winning the league straight off. It's bridging that gap into the top 4/6, Rodgers has shown he can compete with those clubs with getting us to two 5th place finishes and a trophy. I can see Rodgers being interested in the project and potential funds to mould at squad as he wants too. Don't want Rodgers to go, however I'm not sure he can do much more for us than he already has either.
  11. 32 points to go
  12. What a load of s**t that was.. But we're 2 nil up so I'll take it for now. Please don't collapse 2nd half
  13. I'm going for a 4-4 draw
  14. Attacking.. Surprised by Hamza especially coming in from the cold..
  15. Lose today and we're out the title race
