Almost completely agree except the board deserves some blame for appointing Cooper in the first place not sure a competent board would have done that but other than that your post sums up my opinion well
-
I think without the additions it might not be good enough to stay up but should be good enough to be at least competitive if managed correctly as shown last season. However Cooper seems to have us in complete disarray showing no plan and his interview showed a panicked man with no idea how to change it. He keeps saying he is having to play players out of position but we didn't have to last season and we are only 1 player different so he dosent have to it's a choice and a bad one
-
He actually has a plan, plays players in position and can set up a team
-
Post of the season so far 100 % agree
-
Lots were I and many others were not though and were quite positive about are chances under Enzo in the prem and warned people to be careful what they wished for. I think we would have on the end of some big deletes with Enzo's style but also plenty of big wins as well and would have finished comfortably 13- 16th Under Cooper it looks like some of the players have never kicked a ball before

This squad beat Bournemouth and narrowly lost to chealsea last season, that would not have happened if we had been managed by Cooper playing like this. The squad is plenty good enough with a couple of additions to get comfortably 14- 17th However not with these crap tactics

What are your expectations for next season?

What are your expectations for next season?
lcfcbluearmy replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
We won the championship fairly comfortably with a fair amount of players who have played at the top end of the prem in the past. People are shitting themselves because we lost 1 player and haven't won a couple of pre season games If my prediction bites me later in the season then so be it but I think our squad is comfortably strong enough to stay up. Its stronger than any of the three that went down last season and better than the 2 that came up with us -

We will fin9sh a comfortable 14th -15th as long as the points deduction isn't more than 8 (which o don't think it will be -
I don't know how many times I need to say this and how many people that need to hear it but Vestergaard did not get rupped apart in the prem in our relegation season he literally did not play a single game of prem football he was ignored and not used

I hate Friday night games they are absolutely horrible to get to when I work in Birmingham
-
Well I don’t know what to say done an amazing job for the club and by all accounts an amazing truly lovely person RIP
-
Just to be clear the anti-Rudkin bit doesn’t come from us suggesting that the club has no plan that is just the voice of a young player and his agent spouting his mouth off take no notice. The thing that the club/ Rudkin got wrong is waisting time making multiple offers for a player that clearly had no interest in coming

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
lcfcbluearmy replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
That would be absolutely ridiculous and it's is completely out of proporciona to previous deductions given forest 4 points, Everton 6 points ( 8 in total for 2 co secative breaches). We only have one breach and it's only 9 points for administration 16 points would be an outrage! However I suspect it will be a maximum of 8 -
Bobby De Cordova-Reid joins permanently - Official
lcfcbluearmy replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Morgan and Was both played for us until they were 37 That's pretty late 30s as far as footballers go Vesterguard is only 31 he has plenty of time left 3 years is a standard sensible contract especially after the brilliant year he had last season -
We have signed 4 people already
-
No preseason is exactly the time to experiment, I will judge him on how we perform in competitive games. Preseason is all about seeing what you have and how they work In different systems
-
Does the Villarreal one count?
-
Good to see everyone remembering that this is our 2nd preseason game and not overreacting to anything that’s going on

Season card fee charitable donation
lcfcbluearmy replied to Lewis wc's topic in Leicester City Forum
I sent them an email when the fee charge was announced detailing the reasons a mobile ticket would be impractical for me I didn't at that point mention the charge (even though I think it is exorbitant). In their response they ignored every point I made and I got a one word reply that said, "The club would prefer you didn't pay the £25 and took the free mobile ticket". Ignoring all the points I made and focusing on the charge that I didn't even mention. If they move to purely digital tickets I will struggle especially at night games due to being unable to charge my phone at work and the travel it takes to get there. -
Ah OK thanks I couldn't find anything on it other than the one he signed in 2022 but it dosent say when that ran too in the article that I saw
-
Why do people think his contract tract runs out next summer? All I can find in the media is that his expiry date is unknown and other players that were given a new contract at the same time as him such as Braybrooke and marcal both finish in 2026 not next summer

Any update on the Barwell game?
