Also people laughing at this but Drinkwater, mahrez and vardy were all signed before Jon rudkin was made director of football, Chilwell and barnes came through the academy so no Rudkin doesn't get credit for any of them

The fact that he was seen as a not very good academy director before he was suddenly promoted to DOF is pretty good evidence that he isn't qualified

To be fair I am constantly critical of Ridkin and have been for years pretty much since he was made DOF in the first place as I thought he was unqualified for it then and my opinion hasn't changed since. I am not just reacting to last night

Even if he wasn't the main man in this transfer he is DOF and there for in charge of recruitment. If he delegated it to someone else who made an error he is still in charge and the buck stops with him

And your still focusing on this one deal in isolation I'm not I'm looking at the bigger picture and there have been too many similar incidents a changeless needs to be made

I agree to some extent except that of top and the board make a change a DOF and fix this they o would be very happy for them to stay and am not wanting the owners to sell but changes definitely need to be changed

No I agree its not missing out on this deal particularly that has annoyed me it is the manner in which we have missed out and the fact that we seem to have something like this happen every transfer window at the moment. On top of the fact that we seem incapable of selling anyone and seem to lose millions worth of players for free. This is just another example of the incompetence of Jon Rudkin

Look some people are over reacting a bit but this is not the first debacle we have had. If it was the first I think a lot more people would be willing to believe it could be inter messing us around. However over the last few seasons we seem to have an incident like this in almost every transfer window. There is a pattern which would suggest that it is at least partly or mainly Rudkin/ the club that are to blame

The quality gap between the top of the prem and the championships is massive but I think the top of the championship and bottom half of the prem are pretty close

I genuinely belive he was referring to the club/ players rather than fans. Basically saying that fans have there opinion but his plan is working and the club and players support him the moment they stop he will leave. I don't think he was threatening to quit I think its a quote that's been made into something it isn't

Not just you but lots of people underestimate the fact that us playing well is what makes other teams look bad. Just because we aren't scoring 7 goals a game does not mean we aren't playing well. We absolutely controlled the game against Swansea and comfortably won. This wasn't just because they weren't good it's because we were and that means that they don't get chances to look good. Yes against the best prem team like man City and Liverpool playing like this we may get picked apart that will happen but against most teams I think k you will be surprised at how well we will do and I think k the moment to probe this will be against Bournemouth in the cup next month

I think in a world where multiple players who are average at best go for over 50 million (Havertz, cucurella, Richarlison, Phillips) , djed spence went for £20 million and there is talk of Connor Gallagher going for 60-80 million KDH is eaisilly worth £40 million. the market has changed and people need to reevaluate there evaluations of how much players are worth especially when it’s prem teams buying
