I don’t think we get a points deduction this season if KP pump in money, as I thought the league 1 rules were different, however do they have the money to pump in? Will they spend it wisely? Would pumping money in affect future seasons? The answer to the last question is definitely yes, who knows on the other questions.

Surely from Tops perspective like Methven says paying someone to come in and sort the mess out pays for itself as the club is worth more, you can sell it then if saving face is the Thai way getting us back to a top half championship team, is where we historically have been and where we were when KP took over, get us back there balance the books and it has to be a net positive with the League and FA Cup wins. First priority would be to rent the training ground out to someone else, get the right manager in and get a strong captain in.

If the club go bust the players get nothing, if they get promoted the club is worth more. Out the box suggestion here could we null and void the contracts in exchange for shares in the club. If any of them stayed wouldn't that be an incentive to perform better as you don't get paid unless we do.

If Rowett had anything about him he'd speak to the u23s Manager, speak with Rudkin and Top and say I wanna name the u23s side. I like Michael Duff great shout and if the club want to try and keep this style of play going, he can do it, hopefully though with a bit more pragmatism to when to do it though. The performance he got out of Cheltenham in 2021 against man city was amazing had them sweating for 80 minutes.

This season it's the points deduction, sacking of Cifuentes and collapse against Southampton. Nobody even spoke about a relegation battle before those 3 things, we were chasing glory and the premiership unaware we could actually get worse. I'd be interested to know whether RVN would of stayed on the championship, we wasted 5 months between about March last year and August before we got Cifuentes in. At the start of the season we weren't really playing well but picked up some points thanks to individual moments from James and Fatawu.

We are about 4-6months from not existing as a football club. If the football league put us into administration next season, that points deduction means a fire sale, at that point it then surely gets to a stage where promotion from league 1 looks unlikely as early as pre Christmas.

If you were Rowett going soon anyway, why would you listen to how we should play? nobody will care how we play as long as we get results and this way clearly hasn't been affective for 2 years at the minimum.

Exactly these boys have a point to prove they are on like a 1/10 of the wages of the playing squad. If they show anything they are ready for next season. Clear the whole lot out on free transfers, we save £100 mil a year+ on wages, maybe Fatawu we may be able to get something for.

Wasn't the reason Winks wasn't playing due to Van Nistelrooy and Cifuentes setting standards? I just think it wasn't done often enough or with as much conviction as Pearson was able to do, he's a scary guy, loved his press conferences, Top clearly is an Osterich as is JR
