  1. On the whole he's done a brilliant job at Cov, but I think he genuinely underachieved in the league last season. Cov have a better squad than Norwich and West Brom who made the play-offs. He had a top 6 championship squad in my opinion.
  2. He did well on the whole in his two spells at West Ham. However, I don't see the club wanting to go for a manager like that. Also, it has to be mentioned that his season at Sunderland was a disaster.
  3. Danny Röhl pulled off an absolute miracle at Sheffield Wednesday with all that adversity. Would be a risk with him only having managed like 35 games in his career but would definitely be worth considering.
  4. If he is offered the Chelsea job, then I don't see a world where he doesn't take it.
  5. If he is offered the Chelsea job, then I don't see a scenario where he doesn't take it. Sorry, quoted the wrong post.
  6. I'd take Moyes because I think he's shrewd enough to be able to keep us in the division and stabilise us. However, the club won't go for him. The appointments of Puel, Rodgers and Maresca suggest that the club want us to go in a certain direction which is completely at odds with David Moyes.
  7. Worst premier league season in a long time. There was no relegation battle despite two clubs getting points deductions, top four was decided weeks ago and there's been even more VAR farce. Technically the title was decided on the final day but we all knew Man City were gonna win the league. Very lacklustre on the whole.
  8. I can understand why Burnley would keep Kompany, seeing as he's already proven that he can get them promoted. However, on the basis of this season's performance he fully deserves to be sacked. They've spent £100 million and have finished on 24 points. It's absolutely pathetic.
  9. It's weird really, I don't think anyone predicted Norwich to finish in the playoffs this season, but they did. However, they were absolutely hopeless last night and were genuinely one of the worst teams to have come to our place.
  10. The two sides looked at least a league apart.
  11. I have nothing against Deano. His football was pretty aimless at times but I still think we'd have stayed up if he was given 2 or 3 more games.
  12. A bit harsh. They don't have a billionaire owner and in terms of geography it's not somewhere that players want to live or that people want to invest in.
  13. Leeds will beat Norwich tonight.
  14. Oh, I didn't know that. I just thought they were a big club having a poor season.
  15. To be fair, if I was him I'd definitely take the Sevilla job if offered, given our situation.
  16. That doesn't mean that the footballing side of Man City isn't exceptionally well run. Also, aren't most of those breaches from the first five or six years of the takeover?
  17. Anyone else found the Luton love-in a bit strange? Yes, they haven't been completely humiliated, but ultimately they've been relegated and won't even break 30 points. They had chances to stay up but blew it at times when it mattered most. Dyche kept Burnley in the Premier League for years under similar circumstances.
  18. Worst premier league season in years. Relegation decided before the final day, top four basically decided with two games to spare and let's face it, Man City will win the title again.
  19. Rumours of Forest wanting to leave the city ground for a new stadium in Toton (near Long Eaton) are not going away.
  20. I said a few weeks ago that I don't think he'll be our manager next season regardless of whether we are promoted or not. I'd still be surprised if he is.
  21. I've been critical of him at times, but it was nice when Maresca got booked away at Southampton away for kicking off about a terrible refereeing decision when we were 4-1 up. It was the realisation for me that Rodgers had truly left the building.
  22. Rumour has it that the third kit comes with a free copy of Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory.
  23. It's funny really how Leeds view themselves and to an extent, how they're viewed by others when you actually consider their honours. Their major honours list is comparable to ours, yet they're viewed as a fallen giant and one of the biggest clubs in the country, and we're 'plucky Leicester'. I get that they have a big fanbase, but they're also the the only club in a city that is much bigger than ours, and there are lots of big towns/cities near Leeds such as Wakefield and Dewsbury that don't have a professional football team to support. It's also worth mentioning that we've spent more seasons in the top flight and fewer in the third tier.
  24. Whilst that's true, Mowbray has had to step back from management because of his health. They'd have had to have found a new manager regardless.
  25. Leeds SHOULD still win the play-offs. They're comfortably the best side in there.
