Comes across as a really decent lad and I hope he has a great season. Looks like Barrow Town FC behind him in one scene and the bridge between Quorn and Barrow.

After watching their game tonight I’ve got a feeling the Prem goal scoring record is in danger. 10-1 Haaland with their consolation.

Great post. I was watching the video below a few days ago, from the game at Cardiff just after Vichai had passed. I don’t want to compare a fight against relegation with the death of a person at all, but when Leicester fans and the team come together in tough times it surely helps. I’m not sure in reality how much us fans can help, the players are the only ones who can really get us out of this mess, but if we can play a small part in helping them to play without the fear they’ve been showing and without the understandable recent toxic atmosphere it can only be a good thing.

I’ve noticed that a fair few people are still offering their match tickets for sale on various Facebook LCFC ticket exchange sites. Presumably at least some, if not most, with the tickets in the same name as the FB profile of the person advertising them. I don’t know if I’m missing something here but isn’t this madness now? Is it still possible that anyone who is a season ticket holder or member isn’t aware of the possible consequences of doing this?

LCFC Fans Consultative Meeting Minutes – March 2023
Drew Peacock replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
It was a high percentage not collected for sure, but that small sample size doesn’t necessarily mean almost half of our away ticket allocation is abused in this way. Only a personal opinion, but whatever the club say, I think they might target some of those who are put on the list for whatever reason or suspicions they may have, causing the % of tickets not collected by those checked to be unnaturally high. -
Crystal Palace Away- Saturday 1st April 15:00 KO

I’ve had my Palace tickets this morning, so receiving them a week or so before the game does definitely seem to be the new norm for away tickets now. -

I think this is the new norm now for away tickets. Looks like they’ll be arriving in the post from about a week before each game for those not on ‘The list’. -
Does that mean Willian and Mitrovic both suspended for their next game away at Bournemouth? 🙈
-
Agreed. Over the years the actual game has often been the worst part of an away day.

Yes mate I haven’t communicated context very well in my post and was referring mostly to ease of collecting lost in the post tickets in the past rather than this new checking system, as not sure if I’m on the checklist or not for this. Totally agree with your comments though, and reading on here about a child being refused entry because the ticket was originally for her brother who couldn’t make it is just ridiculous. -

I’ve just read this, still not had mine yet, and it made me also check if I’d actually bought them! I’ve never had a problem collecting from the away ground before though when tickets haven’t turned up, although not sure if they are lost or on the checklist. Taking my son’s passport would not be the end of the world but is a bit of a pain in the arse. Weirdly one time this happened was Sunderland in the league winning season. Got the duplicate tickets ok there, but someone was already in our seats and had exactly the same seat numbers on the ticket. We were both in the ground! The steward there already seemed aware this was happening and said we’d have to sit front row which they don’t normally allow there. Very odd. -
Never much activity nowadays, and always going to be disappointing ever since Sky put an end to this kind of thing.

He’s a Leicester player already on that very reliable Wikipedia. 😂 Hope that very popular, much talked about on here ref, Gavin Ward, isn’t down as a Walsall supporter by mid-afternoon tomorrow.

I might have to change my username on here, as right now it’s factually incorrect.

It will be from me.

LCFC 2-2 Brighton - Post Match Thread
Drew Peacock replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
Got away with one there and everything has been said on this thread, but in the situation we’re in it might be an important point against a decent side. What I don’t get is why loads of fans got up to leave at the time of their equaliser. It didn’t put us 2 or 3 down. Yes people pay their money and can do what they like of course, but we’re still in the game and does that help the passive atmosphere or the team? Just bizarre to leave in this context. -

You’d have missed your usual private seats in Block E232 then though. Are you in there this season about 10 rows back? 😁 -
I’ve just watched this moment back and it looks even worse than it did live. If one moment in a game sums up exactly where we’re at, this was it. 7 year olds are taught the very basic principle of your first touch being into space, forward your first choice if possible and there was acres ahead, and we would have then been on the offensive, not nearly conceding. Barnes could then have been played in, although he wasn’t anticipating, walking, and his body language looked disinterested soon enough. Then we nearly conceded. This wasn’t down to a long injury list or any of the other excuses currently being given, admittedly with some being valid. It was a passive, casual, can’t be arsed mindset and therein lies a massive problem.
-
I think this is just light hearted in the context of our current struggles.
-
It was terrible today, as is often the case, and at the moment it does reflect the lightweight, passive team we are currently watching. But I accept the argument that should be no excuse for the malaise in the stands, but in reality it does make a difference of course. I was there, and although I want to make a noise and join in, I’m not the type to start songs off so have to take some responsibility I realise. The quiet did feel a bit depressing today. To be fair though, the context of the Vardy song from us was in reply to them singing about him, so our reply was always going to happen.

Are you going to the Fulham home game? Just noticed you can pick them up until 7pm on that date.
