Missed the game tonight and I’m absolutely fuming to hear this news, disgraceful tackle. Looking at the picture of the injury it looks very similar to my wife’s broken leg, which she sadly did last year. Broken fib and tib, can tell just by the way the foot it facing the wrong way. Obviously I’m no doctor but he’s going to be out for at least 5/6 months at best. So gutted for someone who was world class and such a huge prospect. Get well soon Fofana

How do you convince Silva to come here knowing he'll be sat on the bench for god knows how long? You can't...which is why the deal had to be done when Drinkwater left. It's not about money blah blah blah it's about guaranteed first team football for a man of his experience and reputation. The only winners from this huge monumental **** up is Drinkwater and his agent.

Uninspired sums up this preseason for me. Uninspired with the management choice, uninspired with the transfer activity and uninspired with the lack of ambition. Like most have said already, it's hard as expectations have been set way too high since winning the league.
