Einstein said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. The fact that the manager thought that midfield would somehow come good tonight (and at least put a shift in), was just laughable.

For me the least enjoyable season was always 2000/01 with Peter Taylor. After the highs of O'Neill's management we really came down crashing down to earth, right from the first game. But even that was a joy compared with this year. I don't think I've ever seen such a lazy, feeble and pathetic Leicester side, month after month.

I was there too. I also remember a big number of Fulham fans coming at us after the game down one of the streets near the ground, and a very brave leicester fan at the front shouting "Stand your ground Leicester!" in defiance.
