  1. Why the Cooper stick still? Cooper had a Championship squad out of the relegation zone and scoring in every single home game. Ruud is far far worse than Cooper in every stat going.
  2. Please don’t compare RvN to Cooper. Even if you didn’t like Cooper he is clearly a far far superior manager. He got this sack of shit to score in every single home game and hit ten points out of twelve games!
  3. Do you still disagree with me 😂
  4. Unfortunately I am at the Londion Stadium. The RvN > Cooper debate is over. Cooper is a far superior manager to RvN. To go from 10 points in twelve games and scoring in every single home game to this woeful performance is an incredible downgrade.
  5. Excited for beers in Liverpool Street beforehand. And when 3-0 down at half-time can head back home nice and early.
  6. Cooper likely would have got us to 32/33 points based on the first third of the season and the fact that we scored in every single home game he managed, but even then that total would be unlikely to keep us up. There is zero chance Ruud will get us to that sort of total. We could possibly average half a point a game from now on in if we manage to score on rare occasions. That would give us another six points which would see us finish on 23.
  7. RvN is far far worse than Cooper. We scored in all 6 PL home games under Cooper. Was that because of Hermansen as well?
  8. It is not so much he hasn’t added anything, he has made things significantly worse. Before he arrived the team had scored in every single home PL game (imagine that - scoring in every home game ) and were 16th, so to say we were already down is nonsense.
  9. Some blame? He has taken a team who had scored in all 6 PL home games before his arrival to one that has lost six PL home games in a row without scoring (nearly 7). However, the main blame lies with the decision to sack Cooper. We were 16th, had a hope of staying up and clearly no-one better wanted the job.
  10. He is miles worse than Cooper.
  11. Cooper to Ruud is the biggest managerial downgrade since O’Neill to Taylor.
  12. Cooper managed 6 PL home games. Leicester scored in all 6. Were 16th in the league when he got sacked. Under RvN we have lost the last 5 PL home games without scoring once. We have gone from 16th to 19th as the team has stopped scoring at home every match since the manager change. How can some fans still blindly say RvN is better than Cooper when all evidence shows this is nonsense? Even if Cooper is as terrible as some say, how can you suggest RvN is an upgrade? How?
  13. Cooper managed six PL home games. We scored in all 6. It still baffles me that RvN gets compared to him favourably.
  14. Steve Cooper secured ten points from twelve games, while RvN has four from nine, so there had been a material downturn in points return. Considering some comments such as this is a Championship squad which any manager would struggle to keep up (which I agree with this), then surely Cooper wasn’t doing the desperately awful job that the majority were making out. His head was clamoured for but I feel we at least had a fighting chance of staying up if he’d stayed, based on evidence such as what he did keeping Forest up and our league position at the time of his sacking. I think we go down now with or without Ruud so need to think who would be best placed to see us do well in the Championship next season, which would probably be Dyche if he were to accept the job.
  15. Should have stuck with Cooper. He wasn’t perfect but had a championship squad averaging not far off a point a game. Those calling for him to be fired will no doubt have been calling for Maresca’s head last season also.
  16. Spare ticket if anyone wants it. Im in London Bridge.
  17. Haven’t been this concerned about an appointment since Ranieri.
  18. Absolutely shocking. We have easily finished top 4 every single season in our 136 year history. Now we may not finish top 4! Can anyone remember the last time we didn’t finish top 4? I’m sure that has never happened. Sack Rodgers and Chilwell. Both useless and bring in Peter Taylor as manager and Junior Lewis to play left back.
  19. Agree with the sentiments above in that he was a terrible player for us. However, he did score the equaliser at WHL, the first game against spurs after we won the title, so that was one sweet moment at least.
  20. Whoever gets seventh spot (or sixth if Southampton win the FA Cup) could have to play up to 21 games in the Europa League next season. Before the group stage you need to go through three two-legged affairs (second qualifying, third qualifying and final play-off rounds) which gives an initial six games. Then you have the six group games taking you up to twelve. There's then four two-legged rounds (taking you up to twenty) and then the final which would be the 21st game. There's a minimum of 40 domestic games (38 premier league, 1 FA Cup and 1 League Cup) so, if a Premier League club was to win the Europa League, it's a minimum 61 game season. If Leicester do sneak in, there's potential for up to 11 away trips
