No more injuries. Strong finish to the season. League position immaterial. Bookies to lay odds of 5000/1 for us to win PL next year

LEI- CHE Post Match Discussion (Moan In)

Claudio hits the nail on the head. Performance first & foremost then the results will come. Passion. Desire. Commitment. Teamwork. -
It’s not just the city. Any sport. Any reverse will piss me off. I’ve never got over Tom Watson taking five on 18 at Turnberry for example. However we should know better than others the importance of the lows in terms of their contributions to the highs.

Thought he’d switched to MMA. -
We’ll I don’t know about you but I always thought there was a human inside him.

Area would do me.

Any reference to the concept of a channel on a football pitch. I keep expecting to see the players falling into a water filled ditch. Jenas is one of the worst culprits.

If you include his rustling and goal celebrations he’s untouchable.

Something doesn't make sense or seem right...

I really shouldn’t say this but McManaman’s analysis the other night was spot on. I don’t think we are capable of possession football and more to the point it’s something I don’t want to watch. -
FA Cup winners - was that the final piece in the jigsaw?
ftfagos replied to Spudulike's topic in Leicester City Forum
The best bit for me regarding the title win was that we did it in style. A team playing as a team, not just a collection of star players although we did have a few worthy of the description world class. We won it by ten points, pulling away, not bottling the run in, taking the one nil wins as though it was our destiny. Then there was Bocelli. FA cup win was rather low key compared to the title but what a goal & we beat the eventual CL winners. This should be enough but a CL win somehow with Vardy scoring the winner in the final would be a dream ending. Ranieri said we were allowed to dream after all. -
Our title win v Emma Raducanu achievement.

All I can say is that I was pacing the room last night just as I did at around 21:40 on 02.05.2016. Had to break into my old man’s whisky to steady the nerves. It’s still all about performance under pressure whether it’s football or tennis. She’s basically a supermodel who happens to be articulate, intelligent & a world class tennis player. -
Probably because he has a brain in each foot as well.

Must admit I’ve never listened to the bloke but if someone could tell me if he’s better or worse than Nicky Campbell then I’ll know how much to detest him.

Another one with more domestic medals than Harry Kane. Only just. He forgot to pick it up at the first time of asking.

Break & fracture are synonymous. I am a medical professional. Regarding the injury, although little Wes says fractured fibula, given the degree of angulation of the foot and the force involved I will be surprised if there is not some associated ligament damage.

Aye. I thought he was struggling to suppress a massive belch.

The Dream. This is the penultimate chapter in The Jamie Vardy Story. The final chapter ends with him scoring the winner in the 2022 CL final.

It was Pulis. I offered him my hand in marriage after the game. -

This. We don’t want to start next season on the back of three straight losses. The final table does not lie. -
Me too. This was when I started to believe. Arsenal were begging like frightened toddlers round their Mummy’s legs for that final whistle.
-
Both for me. I know this doesn't answer the question. Vardy to score the winner in FA Cup Final in ET this year & again in ET in CL Final next year. There is one final chapter to be written in his great story.

Just had a re-read of The road to a 1st or 4th place finish. Think my wife must have started peeling onions towards the end. -

Great to see this thread back. Been looking for the road to a first or fourth place finish for ages. It provided a lot of comfort during the run in. Any idea why it isn't in the Champions Archive?
