Thanks for the 80 million for Little Wes Chelsea

In a hell of a financial box with a squad of overpaid players on 7 year deals. And with this trophy their only possible path into Europe to avoid taking a hit on their sponsorship deals, I guess I'm OK with Liverpool winning it.
-
Took him off before he had to take a pen
-
Gallagher toting up a season's worth of xG in 10 minutes, and not managing to score. Hopefully he'll have to take the deciding pen

No-brainer to rule than goal out. Since when can you just stand inside the last defender before and as the kick is taken, to seal off his path to the ball?
-
Screwing Klopp and the Liverpool fans probably worth Chilwell getting off the hook.

I nearly accused you of spending too much time in here with the bedwetters. And SHU have shown neither quality nor athleticism that belong anywhere near the Premier League. But damned if yours haven’t let that godawful side make it a 50-50 game at your own ground.

Absolutely. And in 2024 "just another championship team" means "feeder club for even the smallest PL teams". Just look at Bristol City and Bournemouth.

In a late game, purely defensive situation, I don't see what we would lose with Coady over a tiring Vestergaard. Not that we've seen him enough to be sure. And Vesty was on that late yellow ...

Outfield subs Saturday: Cannon, McAteer Unused outfield options : Albrighton, Praet, Yunus, Coady, Nelson, Doyle. Not an ideal bench as to balance of positions -- but not well used IMO. Going to McAteer instead of Albrighton was inexplicable and it really hurt us. If he's going to wait until 75' or later to make changes, why not take advantage of fresh legs at CB? Nelson (or even Coady) at 100% is better than Faes or Vesty at 80%. He should consider subbing for Wout late in games where we are defending a lead. He is not not great at maintaining his concentration, especially for 100 minutes, especially as he tires.

1. Luck evens itself out in the long run. 2. In the long run, we are all dead.

This will be a Laurence Dallaglio moment

Given Vardy was ruled out with a groin injury, probably no. -

It’s not enough just to be the better side eh. Learning to close the deal is one thing. Collapsing when we hit a tough spot after 80’ is another. Earn your pay and fix it, Enzo, we’re still two games clear.
-
It really was not a tough call at all.

Really good half -- for us and for neutrals watching. Our quick work is overcoming thug football in midfield. Leeds will have to come out hard. By 70’ or 75’ their tanks will be empty.

Wrong side scored

Our every touch in midfield is immediately met with a hard foul. Really glad we're playing Hamza and not Praet.

At this point, your only hope is a Keith Richards style complete blood transfusion.

Is that Meslier in the picture? Hard to tell, he looks high as a kite. Shoot early and often, lads.
