  1. No option but to put VK on the market to gauge clubs' interest and what they are willing to pay. A Prem club would be expected to beat Bologna's price. If none are interested, we'll just have to negotiate for as much as we can get from the Italians. He's young, still establishing himself, and needs to play. And is under contract until 2028. He doesn't yet hold the cards to determine where he goes.
  2. We've noticed, young man. I know it’s been tough, and I for one am impressed with your self-control.
  3. If @HighPeakFox leaves this one alone, it will be the biggest upset since Grimsby Town beat Southampton.
  4. Yesterday’s match was a good litmus test re: Praet. Optimists will be raving about his great movement and incisive passing, especially in the first half. Haters will have only noticed his two bad giveaways in the second half and are certain they were right all along. Balanced observers will probably have rated his game 6-1/2 or 7, from a player technically too good for this division but sometimes disengaged.
  5. I totally agree! Though what I was referring to, is spreadsheets springing up like weeds in various threads, minutely analyzing the table and every possible combination of future results. I just hope 12 months from now, we’re not seeing tables Excelerate through the forum, racing to recalculate our relegation chances after each result.
  6. When did Enzo’s Blue Army become Enzo’s Spreadsheet Army?
  7. these Saints ain't marching far.
  8. The gap at the top of the table grows to 12 points.
  9. BRIZZLE WITH TWO!
  10. Ref doesn;t have the cojones to call a back pass either
  11. Easy street. And yet this ref has my blood pressure higher than watching Watford trying to equalize last Saturday.
  12. City slicing and dicing with the most exquisite knife skills … and teasing us with how beautiful the food looks … and doling out a taste every half an hour. But damn, I’m hungry for a goal feast!
  13. Looks like yesterday's training ground routine was "long cross to the far post headed into the box".
  14. Nonsense?! The moment that XP was underhit into Chenal’s hand -- my friends and I -- people who played this game and have been watching it for decades -- agreed that close, see-saw game could easily turn on that failure. As indeed it did, to nobody’s surprise (except apparently yours). It’s not really about 50 yard field goals. Every kicker in the league has them in his locker, as do 100 available kickers who didn’t make an NFL roster. It’s about who consistently makes pressure kicks. It’s early to say whether Moody can get out of his own head and stick in the NFL. But after costing SF the Browns game and Super Bowl this year, and missing FGs in their first two playoff games, it’s NOT too early to say he looks nothing like that guy who’s consistent when the pressure is on. Much less that rare kicker who’s worth the 99th pick.
  15. Bad enough to burn a high pick on a kicker. Unforgivable to do it on a kicker from Michigan … literally cost them a Super Bowl.
  16. Our 0-9 record away win is in danger
  17. Dear Foxes Hub, If I wanted to listen to some old fart drone on down the pub, I'd go down the pub. Please return Tony Cottee to the 1980s/90s, I'm sure they miss him.
  18. MASSIVE relief at the whistle. If you think we weren’t any better than Watford today, the numbers would agree.
  19. Vards' flick
  20. City supporters all logging on to start a Worst Goal You've Seen Us Gift an Opponent thread.
  21. Terrier chows down on 21 match undefeated string
  22. The stats say 50-50 game. We need to move up the gears in the second half.
  23. Huddersfield not only holding their own at St Marys, they've taken the lead.
  24. Do not let that be a high ankle sprain!
