Hard to connect with this view. Ndidi has consistently been one of our most industrious players, Soumare one of the laziest midfielders I've ever seen.

Replay for Forest No complaints.
-
By the way, Forest are unequivocally in violation, and by an excess-loss figure similar to what earned Everton their ten point deduction. Their defense is that they should be allowed to move their September sale of Brennan Johnson into the previous year’s accounts, because they would have got less money in June. That sounds like a “dog ate my homework” argument … which didn’t work for the Ev.

Reports on Forest’s situation imply that the PL will enforce a rolling three-year loss including two years at the EFL standard (₤13 million per year) and one year at the PL standard (₤35M/year). So, a maximum loss of ₤61 million. Who knows how different sanctions by different league authorities are legally enforced? But the assumption is that the PL will take two years in the Championship into account when judging the Trees. If that’s correct, our maximum rolling three-year loss will be ₤83 million when accounts are published in June. For any who want to try to understand basics of FFP, this article is as good as I’ve found without going deep into the weeds: https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/13041990/premier-league-financial-fair-play-rules-explained-what-restrictions-are-there-on-clubs-spending-what-they-want footnotes: - It’s actually more complicated, because clubs are allowed to average in a fourth year when one of the three years was the “COVID season” of 2020 - 2021. - UEFA’s rules for their competitions are stricter and include a “squad cost ratio”.

They are freakin' ecstatic on the Millwall forum That was a great game to watch. We should all be so proud of our players today! The whole team played brilliant today Wow, so many players had their best game of the season Wonderful game to watch Hard to explain how good we were They spent two-thirds of the match two goals down to our B team and got kicked out of the Cup That's a sorry lot -

Surprised the keeper didn't just take him out and accept the red.

The worse we look, the more we score

Why guess? I looked up their accounts on swissramble. The bastardi avari have enough euros not to lowball us.

That is my idea of banter Appears I've poked with too sharp a stick this time. Sorry I hurt your feelings.

The Athletic reported LCFC is already set up to borrow the entirety of future payments due on Barnes and Castagne. If we spend in this window, that's where it's coming from. Besides the full squad, we only have one place left for an additional loaned player. If we want two, we'll have to make either Fatawu or Doyle permanent. Making outgoings even more of a necessity. We're still sailing close to the wind.

She's had her big run on social media One I'm sure Jamie would prefer not to repeat.

I won't criticize you for a fanboy post because where JV is concerned, we are all fanboys. That said, clubs are business concerns and FFP is a thing. I'll just repeat that Vardy is in serious decline. We all watch the games. We know his financial situation thanks to a certain court case in which his wife burned over a million pounds. He needs a last payday, probably a two or three year contract in MLS or the Saudi league. To keep him here would require 10% of the payroll for at least his 38 and 39 year old seasons. That's a very obvious "no" for a club that has to rebuild its squad for a much, much tougher challenge next season.

Vardy is in serious decline, year on year. This year, he can still torture some Championship defenses. Next year?? It's hard to believe he'd accept a one year contract from anyone. It's time we give him our blessing to had to the states (or even Saudi) for ,his last payday to refill the coffers depleted by Rebekah. It would be suicidal of the club to dedicate 10% of the payroll to Vardy's 38 and 39 year old seasons.

He's completely proven as a shot stopper at this level. We forget he was Preston's PotY the season before last!

Maresca is just pressing Fatawu and his agent in the gentlest, subtlest way. Abdul clearly wants to be on this Premier League team (there, I said it) next year. The feeling is surely mutual. Now we're finding out the club's had most of the leverage, and is nudging Fatawu toward the right decisions on AFCON -- and surely a contract. No fool is Enzo.
-
Enzo as quoted in the Athletic: “I received a text at 11pm last night (Sunday) saying that Abdul was not going with the Ghana squad,” Maresca said. “If you ask me whether it would be better if Abdul is with the international team or here, I would tell you that it is much better for us to use him in January. “Abdul is in the position where he’s a loan player, so we have an option in the future, but when you lose a player for a month, we probably struggle a little more to make our decision at the end. Now he has time to continue to show us how good he is and then, at the end, we are going to decide.”

I'm not sure how Tom Brady and his genius mates running BCFC can fix their little problem. Wayne Rooney's ₤5 million due through 2025-26 should soak up ten percent of their gross revenues for this and the next three seasons (not counting obligations to the rest of his staff). If Man U paid Ten Hag that same 10% it would be ₤60 million/ year Who else would hire him to void that IOU? That's a hell of an FFP albatross if a club is trying to hire an ex-PL coach or upgrade a squad.

I'll set the over/under on cannons-firing GIFs to appear in this thread at ... 6.5. And obvious cannon puns at 26.5. -
