Good performance by Callum Rydz to beat Schindler.

Nothing “sadly” about it. 🤣

Thoroughly enjoying Man City’s implosion. Long may it continue.
-
Absolutely superb match, feel for Carolissen as played so well.

A long, but interesting article on a genuine maverick. I am sure you could write several books on this guy, but be prepared for the inevitable law suits that would follow.

Ok, then completely wrong usage on my part, it was my index finger as I first stated. I was also talking about opening apps rather than the phone itself, which is why it sounded weird to me.
-
Who mentioned the little finger? Both hands, who the f**k does that. 🤣
-
I cut my right hand index finger yesterday and had to put a plaster on it. 24 hrs later still have a vivid red line through the top of my pinkie, which means I can’t use it to gain digital access to various on line accounts. Now trying to remember passwords I haven’t used for ages! 1st world problems eh! 😡

Relieved Wright won that one, Plaiser scored well, but crying out loud he is difficult to look at.

Rashford is not what we need, but Arteta does like his pet projects.

Para 2, you are correct. I am stating that out of a sadly growing number of cases over the last 20 years or so, where children have been tortured and murdered( and lets face it most by their so called parents) I cannot think of one miscarriage of justice. Of course I am not saying it could never happen and I take your point that one mistake would be one too many. The courts could only sentence the death penalty in certain cases and where proof of guilt was incontrovertible. A mandatory appeal should result in the High Court ratifying or striking out that sentencing decision.
-
Not the category of murder that I am advocating the death sentence for, please read back my previous posts. I am also talking of contemporary cases where modern detection is more definitive.
-
Can you think of such a case where the guilt has not been ironclad, because I cannot?
-
There was absolute proof of guilt in this case and in similar cases such as Baby P and the other horrible case in the news the other day. Modern forensic methods such as analysis of mobile phone data, CCTV and DNA make prosecution of these cases so much easier than of yesteryear. I do agree that there should be no doubt as to a persons guilt if they were to receive such a sentence, but the torture and murder of a child is a really exceptional catatory of crime, which imo demands more than a chuck away the key approach.

Death by lethal injection, or hanging would not do their crimes justice. It would need to be something more medieval.
-
He happened to miss the most important one of his career so far. Granted it wasn't in the PL. 🤣
-
Very sad news, won’t be the same without his commentating.
-
Awful match overall, but that was an enjoyable last ten minutes. 🤣
-
Hoping for a few more “I can’t spake” moments from Wayne Mardle.

20 mins in and absolute tedium.

Absolute couple of psychopaths right there.

World Football Thread 2024/25
Torquay Gunner replied to StanSP's topic in General Football and Sport
I didn't see the game of course, but rare to see a manager dig out a player in public the way Postecoglou did with Werner. Having said that I saw his first half stats, which were pretty atrocious. -
FIFA has been corrupt for years and it gained public attention for such under Platini and Blatter. As for your second sentence, yes it's called sport washing, exactly the reason why an odious regime such as the Saudis should not be awarded the world cup.
