Gvardiol and Lewis are relatively inexperienced and Ederson has always had a kamikaze streak. They are really missing Dias and although he didn't play last night I am surprised that Walker still gets picked for most league games. The re-signing of Gundogan at 34 was an odd one. Still hard to believe though that they have not won a game since 26th October.

It annoys me that these big supermarkets(Tesco probably the worst culprit) can charge you almost double for an item, if you don't happen to have their loyalty card. Since I don't like to shop at the same store all the time, I need three or four of these so called loyalty cards, or pay 8 quid for a decent double kitchen towel.

Watched Alien Romulus last night. Really enjoyed it, lots of nods to the first two Alien films, but different enough to stand alone. Imo much more entertaining than the rather dull Prometheus and and Alien Covenant.

I really don't believe that theory. Do you think that the absence of one quite frankly average footballer, such as Dewsbury-Hall seriously weakens Leicester? More to the point I don't think the so called big six are concerned with other team squads, to the extent they make that one of their transfer strategies.

It’s seems to me that there are more than a few players, who appear quite happy to take the big money and settle for being a squad player that rarely plays. As a club Chelsea have become synonymous with this from Winston Bogarde in early noughties (only played 9 times in 4 years despite being a Dutch international) to Dewsbury-Hall. Man City, perhaps because they also seem to have an enormous squad regularly do this. Fact is for me the players are just as culpable as the clubs.

Anyone old enough to remember ‘In bed with my dinner’ and a famous tv documentary of the early 90’s might find this interesting. Its a long podcast, but the first 20 mins in particular are quite powerful.
