  1. Some bastards have put bunting up outside our apartment block. If not for the CCTV it would no longer be there!
  2. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/apr/30/minister-defends-offensive-coronation-day-oath-to-king-charles I certainly won't be taking part in this sycophant's wet dream!
  3. Very very disappointing. FFS.
  4. For anyone that's got Disney, then Mr In-between is well worth a look. It's an Australian black comedy crime drama with some brilliant authentic performances. Funny and very dark.
  5. You can win this Leicester, let's see some new manager bounce!!
  6. Just finished watching 1883 on Prime. Really enjoyed it, dialogue, sets, cinematography not to mention the acting was first class (Sam Eliott particularly impressive).
  7. Just started watching Outer Range on Netflix. Billed as a sci Fi western with a decent cast including Josh Brolin, Will Patton and Lill Taylor. Can't get a handle on it at moment, but certainly weird and different.
  8. I have only read three of them and watching the series would not dissuade me from wanting to read more. Michael Connelly is a top class writer.
  9. Yes Bosch is a tremendous character, the books are a good read too!
  10. Looking forward to clash of the Belgians this afternoon, Huybrechts capable of springing a surprise. Now I've said that he will probably be beaten 4-0!
  11. Alice in Borderland 4 episodes in and imho better than the first series.
  12. The Old Man on Disney with Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow. Absolute quality opening episode, so hope it continues in same vein.
  13. Quite like looking at foxstalk as seems a decent forum. I would not normally post on here, but interesting to see people's reaction to the Queen's death. I view her as having had an amazing life of privilege and luxury that few people could imagine. I don't get the sadness, but each to their own.
  14. People in Bristol had been advocating for the Colston statue to be removed for years and ideally it would have been removed by the authorities. It now belongs in a museum as part of a slavery exhibition. There are many other statues to 'dubious individuals' that deserve the same fate, hence the debate on it.
  15. Arsenal fan here. Very, very sorry to hear of your tragedy. Your owners transformed a club they seemed to love. Football needs more owners like them .
