  1. Just throwing it out there in line with yesterday's argument. This is the trouble with candidates/mp's being disconnected from the people. If I was on a sure fire 5/1 bet, I'd have every man and woman over the age of 18 I've ever met on it for a slice of the pie. I wouldn't be slapping the bet on my own online account and getting in trouble for it. Dumb **** had a 500% return over 2 months and shat the bed with it.
  2. ****ing hell. I don't like to gatekeep ever, but if the only thing that pops into your head when asked about missing out on things growing up is sky, then you need to stfu and focus on other ways to relate to people. It's insulting.
  3. Fable looked fantastic. Perfect dark also has me interested, enjoyed the n64 version, was always sad it never went further.
  4. This reminds me of that tweet of someone saying they don't understand how someone can have as much money as someone like bezos and not just start randomly fixing shit that's wrong in the world and saying they could have been batman. It's true enough. No idea why someone with as much money as sunak is in politics, but I highly doubt it's to help the average person.
  5. The commitments any party make in the run up mean jack shite. We've seen that already. Labour are doing the right thing, get power, then get to work. The conservatives ain't dead until election day. Makes no sense to promise fixing the country before that happens.
  6. When the math in your head checks out. FeelsGoodMan.
  7. If these polls ring true, there's genuinely a punchers chance of a Labour government and a lib dem opposition. Which would be decent banter for all tbh.
  8. Shaw, Maddison and Rashford shouldn't be anywhere near this squad. Past time to start taking players on form. Eze should walk into the final 26.
  9. Figured I'd do a full 10 team prem acca for the last day. Get the **** in.
  10. If you don't need the money now then it needs pointing out that when interest rates start falling, probably later this year, house prices will probably boom again. Might be worth holding out for a short time, especially since decent tenants are hard to find and it sounds like the house will be kept in good nick.
  11. The frame to put Jones 14-11 up. For some reason only Bingham will know, instead of potting the green he tried to play a snooker behind the black, completely fluffed the line and left an easy green on. Baffling decision making.
  12. That shot from Bingham might be the worst shot I have ever seen from a professional player. Unbelieveable.
  13. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c87z06r175no Scientists are trying to create a new type of bread that is just as healthy as wholemeal but looks and tastes like its white counterpart. Finally science being used for good.
  14. Doesn't look like Scotland is doing much better either. And that's with the greens holding more power than they ever have. Not good.
  15. Yeah, a lot of expensive stuff on there. Reckon I'm gonna pick up a full kit for the little one, only £25. And maybe one of the holdalls for taking on holidays
  16. Tidy. First time winning anything decent from one of these parimatch promos
  17. Legalise weed, ban tobacco. Everyones happy. Literally this easy to run the country folks. Sign me up.
  18. Really weak red card has ended this as a tie. No love for either of these teams but a shame it's ending like this imo.
  19. I dare argue that on recent form, Maddison shouldn't be starting. Better to keep Bellingham as a 10 than waste his talent sat deeper.
  20. If I was a manager and one of my players was arguing about who was taking a pen when 4-0 up, I reckon I'd be instantly subbing them off. Cringe af.
  21. https://watermeadview.co.uk/ Something along the lines of a retirement apartment like this would probably suit. Obviously not the right location just popping it here for the idea. Damn things go for north of £200k a pop though. Sounds like you're having the same issues I had with my grandad. Steadfast refused to give up his independence and get help when he needed it. We never found a solution he'd accept before he left. Really hope someone has a better idea.
  22. Pretty much no life'd fallout with all my spare time. Loved it. Can't wait for the next season. After watching this, and to a lesser extent last of us, have to feel bad for the Halo fans. How on earth did they end up with something so shite.
  23. And this is exactly where gambling regs should step in. Not targeting autospins or bonus buys. Target the bookies that refuse to let punters win. If you're only allowed to lose, it's not gambling.
  24. Watched the first 3 episodes tonight. Loving it tbh. Can see why it's reviewing so highly.
