Just filling out a questionnaire we need to complete before my son can have surgery and wondering if anyone within the medical field could explain something to me please. This is the question: We would advise that your child does not receive any immunisations within 2 week of their surgery. Please confirm that you have understood this. Both our children are up to date with jabs and such, we're not stupid after all, but is there a specific reason why having the jabs close to a surgery could be a problem? Literally never heard of this and don't understand. Thanks if anyone has the time to explain.

It makes sense to not pay the fuel allowance to rich pensioners. Not a single person is going to argue that someone sitting on millions in the bank needs an extra couple of hundred come winter time. Taking it away from people that only have a basic pension seems a bit harsh though.

Quick update on betmgm. Grabbed north of 2k from them this weekend and my account is now essentially closed. Can't deposit or claim any promos etc etc. No problem withdrawing the cash though. Probably north of 7k up overall on the account but apparently winning isn't allowed.
