  1. Let´s see if they waste a few more thousand taking them to the Alps for a week pre-season. Perhaps they should go back to the sand hills of the Jock Wallace era.
  2. One cutback they should make is NOT to go to the Alps pre-season, spending thousands in the process. They have a state of the art facility at Seagrave. At best, a few days in a training camp at Skeggy.
  3. This team was coached?
  4. Occasionally, regardless of the score, I´ve had to leave before the final whistle (usually to catch a train). Leicester have never conceded a goal after I´ve left, so perhaps I should leave in the first minute! On Friday I left after the 4th goal.
  5. We´re not the first PL club to decline very badly and very quickly: Derby, Portsmouth, Leeds, Luton, Bolton etc.
  6. Does his spirtual/business view of the world differ from that of his father? The legal action brought recently in the case of the fatal helicopter crash includes a claim for loss of income due to the death of Vichai, stating that KP has suffered as his heirs are not as good as him in business terms.
  7. Many of the goals we have conceded this season, like the 2 yesterday, came from poor marking in the penalty area. For the 2 goals yesterday we had more than enough defenders in the box, but Faes (1st goal) and Kristiansen (2nd) were ball watching. Goals against Crystal Palace (H) and Brentford (A) come to mind also. They defend with numbers not intelligence.
  8. I think any boycotting of games should take place once we´ve been relegated mathematically (hopefully we won´t be but it looks pretty certain). For example, the Bournemouth and Forest away games.
  9. I would give the 3 promoted teams a bigger share of the TV money and/or less strict financial rules for 1 year
  10. My parents´ house, built in the 90s, has one. Their previous house and those of my grandparents had "coal houses", built onto the house to store coal
  11. The little numbers in matchday programmes to collect and use to get priority for Cup games. "Silk" scarves Leicester having a white first strip Rattles The home fans applauding the opposition goalkeeper when he takes his position
  12. I live in Spain and come over for 7-10 home games a season, sitting with my brothers. It´s a help when there are 2 in 3-4 days, like Palace and Fulham (oh dear...). This season is a disappointment but I still love the atmosphere and (occasional) excitement.
  13. It´s a bit strange. They bought him even though he was out for 3 months injured, then from mid-January onwards he was kept out of the team by Daka, who they´d spent the previous summer trying to get rid of.
  14. His constant presence in the team and the fact that he is captain (since no-one else is guaranteed a place in the team?) show the lack of quality in the squad. To be fair to the recruitment section, it is a catch 22 situation, as it was in the summer (with a likely points deduction): any player good enough to come here and keep us up won´t come because we´ve got 1 foot back in the Championship.
  15. Strange that that incident wasn´t reviewed on VAR, or replayed on TV. It could well have been a pen, or perhaps he slipped.
  16. I was there in 87 too. Was it still a plastic pitch? I was there in 81 when Alan Young tore his ACL on the plastic. I was also at the train station after they beat in March, they weren´t quite so loud and cocky yesterday! Still, 4500 is very good support. Also, thanks to QPR for sealing our promotion by beating Leeds.
  17. That´s exactly what happened in 1978. We were worse than now - our top scorer scored 4 league goals I think.
  18. He shouldn´t be in the team, but I don´t blame him. He wasn´t good enough when he arrived and hasn´t improved one jot since, which doesn´t say much for the recruitment and coaching at the club.
  19. Not even a top-half Championship player. How he still gets in the team is a mystery. I´d rather have Ayew up front. Despite the criticism that Ayew gets on this web site, I think he is not too bad. Yes he is slow but he´s scored a few goals and can hold the ball up.
  20. Ironically, it was against Newcastle about 19 months ago.
  21. Unless they´ve got a massive mirror
  22. They could appoint Vardy, then he wouldn´t be able to moan or rant (or not so much). If things went badly he could have a word with Top and get himself sacked.
  23. I imagine that all clubs, especially those like Leicester that are multi-million pound operations, would always have a managerial replacement more or less in place in case the current manager is a failure (and gets sacked) or does well (and gets poached). Like Cloughie used to say, don´t sell a player until you´ve got his replacement ligned up.
  24. Perhaps Cooper will go back to Forest, as their new "Referees Critic"/"Whinger" or whatever Clattenburg´s job title was. Or he could join the VAR crew at Burton since he´s the leading expert on football laws.
