  1. Unless I have misunderstood, then yes you will need to buy a membership for yourself as well. If your son has one he cannot buy a ticket because he is under 18. He will need you to buy one with him, and if you don't have a membership, you will struggle. Generally, memberships are worth it if you go to a fair few games and particularly if you want a ST before the expansion
  2. Exactly. Even something simple like 5 points if you have a ST this season (2023/24), 3 for season before (2022/23), 1 for season before that (2021/22). That way you have some loyalty bonus but it also gives a "newby" the chance to catch you up by going to 5 away matches this season (2023/24). The same could be done for members. 3 points for current season, 1 for last season. Or something like that. This system would then reward people for making the effort to travel to away games and makes it much more of a level playing field.
  3. I am referring to someone who might never have been to an away game getting priority over someone who has been to a fair few. The current system gives advantage based on how long you have held a ST for. It needs to change to make it fairer for those who haven't had a ST for 10 years. For reference, I sit in P1 but I disagree with the current system. It can, and should, be much better and fairer.
  4. Don't want to keep derailing this thread but wanted to add some thoughts here. Why should you get any priority points for holding a ST when buying tickets for an away match? Of course, STH's get priority over members but in my view, if I am buying an away ticket, home points should be irrelevant. A STH who has been to 10 away games should get priority on away tickets over a STH who has only been to 2 away games, irrespective of how long they have held said ST. Surely that's not unreasonable?
  5. I bet if you had a shopping receipt during the match hours you'd easily get away with it (e.g. if your wife shopped as you were at the game).
  6. Happy new year! I have personally missed your contributions, welcome back. I did think of you the other day actually, while I was sat on the sh1tter.
  7. The 48 stagecoach bus (might even be called 148 these days) drops near the ground (maybe 10 min walk). Goes from Nuneaton anyway
  8. I think this changed recently as previously the "guest" got no points. I bought for someone the other week because they couldn't buy a ticket on their own account so they will now have their first point.
  9. This is the Championship, no game is a given. What we have done so far is incredible if you think about it. Doesn't matter who you are in this league. Ipswich also get lots of credit for keeping up with us considering they were freshly promoted. We will get promoted, even if we have a lull at some point. Win tonight and we seriously pull away. Draw and we edge that little bit further, even a loss still keeps us well on top. All in our hands.
  10. They have gone up to 3/2 weekend
  11. Due to illness I have (begrudgingly) decided to give my ticket up for this. So, 1 adult ticket available at FV (£17). Will ideally need collection from Hinckley area.
  12. Yes, ideally the players would thank anyone left at the end. However, given the fact the majority of "fans" (attendees is probably a better word) don't put any effort in, you can't blame them on focussing on areas they appreciate. And it's not down to your individual effort, unfortunately, it's just the area you were sat in generically.
