English football atmosphere has been on a steady decline since the early 2000s. Those were different times but a lot of people are reluctant to accept it won't be like that again. Scotland was the same but they have adapted and taken on the "new style" and it's worked wonders up there. Drum or not, as a collective us fans need to put words into action. As I said a few posts above, SK1/parts of SK2/G2 showed promise early doors yesterday. It was a shame it went 2-0 as that killed any momentum. Hopefully the next games improve on the pitch and things can kick on.

As poor as yesterday was, this was one of the few positives and it's great to see the work put in come off. Pretty sure this is the biggest fan funded and fan created design pulled off in the third division ever... you'll never sing that!

Fans are always greater than the club. No fans, no club. It's the one thing that is in our own hands.

Stadiums don't need drums but they help. So much easier to start chants than one bloke who cannot be heard. Additionally it helps keep time, something 90% of football fans are incapable of. Hence chants without drums get mumbled after 1, max 2 repetitions. Have you ever seen games across the border or in Europe? I don't think those atmospheres are poor. And almost all include drums. Everything works better when well organised. Whether you like the sound of a drum is an opinion and that is fair. However, making a statement that drums mean a poor atmosphere is rubbish.

Yes drum moved more central and up two rows to try something different. As above, the section as a whole felt refreshed and positive before the players ruined everyone's mood. Good few rows at top of SK2 standing and getting involved. I think once we get something to get behind on the pitch it will be banging in that corner.

Nothing wrong with looking for faults even during success. That's what separates the best from the rest. The biggest gripe most fans have is that positive changes have only been made when it's too late, reactive rather than proactive. Have we been in a worse position? Definitely. Have we been in a better position? Yes, very recently. People are rightly annoyed at that being destroyed so quickly and easily. And importantly, completely avoidable. I am sort of positive this season but we have a long way to go to rebuild even a part of where we were 5/10 years ago.

Disgusting prices for what it is. It's a game we shouldn't be playing. STH's should get free tickets (£5 absolute max). No one should be paying more than £10. U16/18 free.

I was more making the point that if we can't sell him, we should utilise him and not freeze him out. He can probably play lower PL level (someone like Cov/Hull ideal) but he would thrive around Championship level. If we keep him and Nelson as a pair we should have a good backline.

Championship/League One is his level so it would make sense to utilise him

I remember back in the early 2010s getting kit for £10 in the sale but we never got close again. Demand was much higher last few seasons.

Even though the chants in the section were not "the usual", the Rudkin chant was actually loud and something that would have been audible on the pitch. It's not even that negative (unless you are Rudkin), it shows the discontent to him but the love for the club ("All I care about is LCFC" being the line). So actually, it was fairly positive in the grand scheme of things. The problem is the 90% of fans who think they are superior because they are "backing the lads" by turning up, sitting in silence and applauding every poor shift we have had this season. They haven't "backed the lads" one bit this season. The section have done for 90-95% of the season but unfortunately, by the end have had enough. The only way it gets fixed is if we have a club who cares about the fans and the community. Not a terribly run club who chuck money at absolute rubbish and build a squad that has no connection to the fans. It causes frustration and anger amongst those who actually care about the club and those who just turn up oblivious to what is going on. If the squad was likeable and put a shift in most weeks, this would be a mute point.

As an apology to the fans they should chop ticket prices (ST and match tickets) by 50% next season.

This has the potential to not just be a loss but a big one at that. Portsmouth 4-0 Leicester.

This is the frustrating thing, we actually aren't playing that bad but all the key moments we are on the wrong end. Soft goals conceded, chances at the other end not converted. We could and should have won the last 3 based on our performances but somehow only come out with 3 points.

I don't disagree but who put them in that position? Who decided what wages they were put on? Who dictates the passion and interest in fighting for the badge by leading as an example? The fix has to start at the top or you forever go round in circles. Get rid of these players only to replace them with more rubbish. This club is rotten and has been in a decline for years due to gross mismanagement. It needs a full restart like we did almost 20 years ago.

It could genuinely be anything. Depends if something finally clicks or if we just continue on our current trajectory. The performances in general aren't that bad but we struggle with the important things. Conceding far too many soft goals and not being clinical enough at the other end. If we somehow sort both we will go unbeaten. If we keep being this bad in those departments we may not win another game. Let's have a go. Everyone on a big wage needs to be shifted or have their wage brought in line with League One. Build a young side with some experience/quality thrown in. Something I wanted this season but it never really happened.

Bit bias but would suggest SK1 (or G2 corner) to start with. Maybe make use of the last 3 games to test it out (you can move your ST for single games to another seat/area).

Not in Rowett's interview but I have been told hamstring injury. Which could mean the end of his season.

Thing is, they don't care. Just like they don't care about the state of our club.
