  2. Saw someone wearing that yesterday
  3. This is exactly what I was saying yesterday, there is a lot of potential if both areas managed to merge and become an unofficial expanded singing section. Which is why I think moving into that bit left of the section (towards G1) should be the fallback for those who might not be able to get into the section itself.
  4. Not sure how many will relocate, hard to gauge. However, worst case, get yourself in and around (possibly better off towards G block which is the left bit of the section if you look at the screenshot). Also, there might be some that end up moving out of the section freeing up a few more seats.
  5. UFS advocated for this when the section was set up, to allow a percentage to be available for match by match sales. However, we find it hard to convince the club there is demand for a larger area and by filling the section, this is the best way. Frustrating because there is very little room to expand and allow "new" fans to experience. As I say, safe standing for me is the next big step to grow the section but knowing the club (and having sat in meetings with them on this topic) they will fluff it up. The ideal scenario is that we make do with the section as is for next season (possibly overfilled/oversubscribed) and then the season after we move towards safe standing and at least a slight reconfiguration of the ground/Kop.
  6. Let's get the section filled. Equally, those in it now, if you don't really enjoy it and don't fancy joining in, have a think about moving out as there will be plenty of equally good/better seats for you. The club are not currently entertaining a larger section and until safe standing comes in, I can't see it grow officially. So let's take matters into our own hands.
  7. Anyone know who is sponsoring us next season? Don't think it's been mentioned...
  8. I've got the white one during CL season signed by Fuchs. That's about it though.
  9. Great place to carry on protests against the £25 charge
  10. I just hope they make deductions at the start of the season, everyone knows the crack. It should be against rules to impose penalties during a season unless it's for something that actually happened in that season (shouldn't be many of these scenarios).
  11. Yes there was, told everyone to back the team. Only to then sit down in silence before heading down for a beer on 37 minutes.
  12. I think it has to be the latter. They want everyone on digital tickets. The biggest protest would be to go against that. The £25 charge was meant to be off putting. If fans still pay it and the club got stick for it, it's a huge loss for them.
  13. Nothing else planned at this point. Fans have made their voices heard, fan groups have pushed and put statements out. Not much more we can do other than intensify protests but how? Ball is in club's court. They can still change course based on most recent backlash. Doubt they will with their stubbornness and ignorance of the fanbase.
  14. On that note, if people in the Family Stand and West Stand could get as many photos as possible and share on here/socials that would be superb. Every TIFO there is usually a couple of people who take some great snaps.
  15. I take a bottle of water in every match. Even that rarely lasts the full 90.
  16. Anyone that does not like the club "listening to feedback", hound them. Drop emails to them. Join in for another rendition of £25 you're having a laugh on minute 25 Saturday.
  17. I am almost expecting it but wouldn't be surprised if Southampton hold Leeds or even beat them. Either way, Ipswich have done this for 45 games, they will do it against an as good as relegated Huddersfield team.
  18. Everything fell in to place yesterday. Pressure of promotion lifted, a free hit to win the league ourselves, 5,700 fans, a great away layout, pyro galore, sea of blue and white, scarves up to welcome the players, everyone joyous and a win to round it off with those celebrations. Amazing, so hard to find the words for it. Comfortably the best away day as a full package. As much as this was an absolute peak, it shows what us fans are capable of when we can be bothered and how we can pull each other along. This should be the start to help change the regular atmosphere home and away, get organised. Now is a great opportunity to get yourselves in and around the singing section or to create your own areas and recreate at least a part of that on a regular basis. Next season more than ever, the team will need us to back them.
  19. 2016? We lifted the trophy against Everton at home.
  20. It's always the last home game. If a title is won away on the final matchday, then it would be presented there.
  21. Not necessarily to release a statement but to give more details. Right now, while conversations are continuing it wouldn't be beneficial to release everything. Once a final decision is made or a deadline passes, each fan group (or collectively) can decide what to release as a detailed statement. This could come at costs of course so each group assesses how much risk they want to take while trading off comms with wider fanbase. It's pretty clear the club don't really care about the fans, as much as they might like to pipe on about it. The amount of backlash this has generated without the club holding their hands up and saying, sorry we messed up, decision reversed. Still time though for them to make the right decision.
