I can understand your comment with regard to Rodgers, but what's maddison trying to protect himself from? He's our best player by far every game. I doubt he'll be here next season so why does he need to put out any pr spin?

If he actually bothered to read most of the typical ft bollocks spouted off about him on here, he'd be saying "fcuk you lot and rot in your own pile of shit, I'll be playing for a top six team next season, good luck in the championship you'll need it." But no, he's consistently our best player each week by a country mile.

He might not be here next season but it doesn't stop him caring or trying more than the rest of the team. Perhaps it would be better if he said "we're fcuking shite and deserve to get relegated" instead of putting a positive slant on a point away from home against a team 8th in the league.

He's letting his football do the talking every game. His contribution to the cause on the pitch also allows him an opinion off it. If we had half a dozen more players with his commitment and passion we wouldn't be where we are.
