This season will do that to a man. Sad to see. -
I'm not going if there's not a fantastic light show.

I remember thinking on seeing Leicester, Spartak, Legia, Napoli that we'd never have a European group that fun ever again. Now it looks like we'll never have a European group ever again

This is a cursed season.

Cos my travel to the game and back only costs £6.70, but even that seems like too much right now...
-
Sure but we were in League One once.
-
I never thought I'd say this right now, but I can't wait for the next match...

Which member of the men's first team coaching staff are you under the impression is making these posts, or what coaching role the social media team are performing?

Ever been ejected from a match ?
Mike the Metal Ed replied to VintageFox73's topic in Leicester City Forum
No but I considered it when Lloyd Dyer scored the winner at Northampton when I was in the home end. -

Why stop there? Why have planes fly over the county at all? Close EMA. -
Coldest you’ve ever been at a game
Mike the Metal Ed replied to Nolucklcfc's topic in Leicester City Forum
It wasn't the coldest night, but walking from my city centre flat to the ground to get a coach to Elland Road, I got absolutely soaked through wearing a hoodie, and it was still soaking when I got to the match. That was cold through my own idiocy. -

Southend v Bury in an FA Cup 2nd Round replay. -2 at Roots Hall that night. For City, probably Scunthorpe away in either 2008 or 2009, I don't remember which. -
Will you go to any more matches this season?

You're a very black and white thinker. -
At 27, playing in Singapore, 0 international caps, how would he even get a work permit?

Much as it pains me to say it about a cult hero, but Ian Marshall is a moron who would probably believe it was raining bitter if Rupert Lowe said it was. Take any hearsay he repeats with a pinch of salt. -
Just sent the email. Thanks for the incentive.

No. After spending a fair few quid over two years to even get a season ticket, when forced to miss the Arsenal game, I realised I enjoy my weekends more when I don't make a 4 hour round trip wrecking my voice trying to make noise in a silent area of SK1 for a club that treats "legacy fans" with contempt, to have games ruined by VAR, and frankly incompetence from the boardroom to the pitch and everywhere in between. Top can have his ground full of yes men. He's earned it.

Worse, at least 75% of them still worship the ground he walks on.

I think people are misunderstanding the second part of the assignment. -

Has any Premier League club ever had three permanent first team managers in a single season and not been a total shitshow that inevitably got relegated? -

They will never take any action that appears to forcibly move anyone from *their* seat. The last time they did it absolutely terrified them. -

I love Nigel. Genuinely, my second favourite Leicester manager after O'Neill, but I think due to perception of time people forget we first hired him 17 years ago. He's not the 44 year old man holding a scarf with Mandaric any more. He's still recovering from what seems like a severe illness. The last thing he needs now is to be thrown into a near-impossible relegation battle. -
Leicester City All Stars Vs Anstey Nomads All Stars
Mike the Metal Ed replied to Lewis Wright's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'm sure Anstey wouldn't say no to the increased gate receipts but surely part of the appeal is watching some of our Premier League winners and those who helped build up to it run around a modest non-League ground at close quarters rather than being sat a fair distance from the pitch. -
A lot of people will forget he was absolutely awful at first, until Martin O'Neill took him off at half time, said he was an absolute disgrace and Claridge said "Sorry, boss. I can't feel my legs." Only then he got the treatment he needed and the rest is history.
