  1. Interesting the swathes of unsold seats outside the core of fans the club is trying its hardest to get rid of.
  2. I don't get how the same people (because our ground is mostly STHs) can clap the same few seconds of Wes lifting the Premier League trophy every single match. Some call the hierarchy at the club North Korea but that is seriously cultlike behaviour.
  3. I'm just looking forward to the atmosphere being lower in the section and knowing the 4:35 crew won't bother turning up.
  4. Giving Albrighton a proper send off the absolute highlight for me.
  5. Not awful, which I'll accept as an improvement over the last two games. We need to still be better though.
  6. We can't be timid. We will be, but we can't be.
  7. I don't want to hear any more about how poor defending let Ward down.
  8. Can we hire some Red Star fans to help keep the pitch clouded over?
  9. Rudkin got this made for himself after the Adrien Silva signing.
  10. Goalkeeping survey, check your inbox. Consultation period ends 14/1/23.
  11. End of this season.
  12. Just call it woke while you're at it.
  13. Ricardo was nowhere near as bad as people remember for sure.
  14. Shirt numbers don't mean much any more, they don't tend to change a lot except for player preference, and I think Hermansen prefers number 30.
  15. It's nice we have had 22 months without Danny Ward playing a Premier League game But that's also 22 months we've failed to get rid.
  16. Wasn't there, didn't watch it, listening to the commentary I can't really remember Leicester being involved in the game at all. I'd hate to be about to undertake a long drive back from Newcastle after that.
  17. Yeah, mentality has been an issue for a while. Even when we looked top of the world under Enzo, I think part of the nervousness among the fans was based on the fact that we know it doesn't take much for the players to lose their heads.
  18. Walking, I'm back on High Street by the time they're getting on the ring road.
  19. I should really start taking my own advice.
  20. I swear that's what we did against Spurs, looked decent doing it and then never spoke of it again.
  21. I'm glad we're ahead but **** me it never feels good celebrating a goal 1-2 minutes after it happened.
  22. A lot of the takes I've seen seem to imply they glance at the league table and draw their opinions from that.
  23. I don't think there's any worry there. "Pick a Leicester City starting 11 and 9 substitutes to face Thomas Frank's Brentford team away from home." To select a starting 11 and substitutes for Leicester City to face Thomas Frank's Brentford away from home, we need to consider Leicester's current squad and form, key players, and tactical approach. For this hypothetical match, I'll choose players who can match Brentford's high pressing style while also making sure Leicester stays solid defensively and capable in attack. Leicester City Starting 11 (4-2-3-1 formation): GK: Daniel Iversen The young Danish keeper has stepped up as Leicester’s first-choice goalkeeper after Kasper Schmeichel's departure. He’s been solid and deserves the nod. RB: Timothy Castagne Castagne offers pace and energy on the right side. He’s also defensively reliable but offers attacking width and support to the forward players. CB: Wout Faes A key figure at the back. Faes brings physicality, aerial dominance, and good passing ability to help build attacks from deep. CB: Harry Souttar Another towering presence in defense. His height and defensive positioning are crucial against a team like Brentford that can be dangerous from set-pieces and crosses. LB: James Justin Justin is capable of contributing both defensively and in attack, with the ability to overlap and cross into dangerous areas. CM: Youri Tielemans Tielemans remains one of Leicester's most creative and important midfielders. His vision, passing range, and technical skill are crucial in controlling the midfield and setting the tempo. CM: Boubakary Soumaré Soumaré provides energy, ball recovery, and dynamism in midfield. He can disrupt Brentford's play and offer defensive stability while supporting the attack. RW: Harvey Barnes Barnes offers pace and dribbling on the left side, making him a threat to Brentford’s defense. He’s effective at cutting inside and getting shots off or providing key passes. CAM: James Maddison Maddison is Leicester's playmaker, providing creativity, vision, and the ability to score or assist from central areas. He’ll be key in breaking down Brentford's defense. LW: Kieran Dewsbury-Hall Dewsbury-Hall has been impressive in recent seasons for Leicester, offering tireless work in midfield and the ability to make key runs into the box. CF: Patson Daka Daka is a clinical striker with pace and the ability to get behind Brentford's defense. He offers a different dynamic than Jamie Vardy, with a more direct style of play. Substitutes: GK: Danny Ward Ward is a reliable backup goalkeeper and will provide security in case Iversen needs to be substituted or if there's an injury. CB: Çağlar Söyüncü A solid defensive option, Söyüncü offers versatility in central defense and is good in the air. CM: Wilfred Ndidi Ndidi brings a defensive presence in midfield, offering ball recovery and protection in the center of the park if the team needs to defend more solidly. CM: Dennis Praet Praet is another technical option in midfield. He can provide creativity, cover in wide areas, and a steadying influence when needed. RW: Tete Tete brings pace, trickery, and the ability to stretch defenses on the right flank. He could provide an impactful substitute performance. LW: Ayoze Pérez Pérez offers flair and versatility in attack. He can be used as an option on the left wing or as a secondary striker. CF: Jamie Vardy Vardy is always a threat as an impact substitute. His pace and ability to exploit defensive mistakes could be crucial late in the game. CM: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall A versatile midfielder, he can provide support in a variety of central roles, making him a strong option to change the midfield dynamic if needed. CF: Jamie Vardy As a veteran striker, Vardy can bring his experience and clinical finishing when coming off the bench. Formation: 4-2-3-1 Iversen Castagne, Faes, Souttar, Justin Tielemans, Soumaré Barnes, Maddison, Dewsbury-Hall Daka Bench: Ward (GK) Söyüncü (CB) Ndidi (CM) Praet (CM) Tete (RW) Pérez (LW) Vardy (CF) This team is a balanced mix of attacking potential and defensive solidity, with pace on the wings and creativity in midfield, giving Leicester the flexibility to adapt during the game against Brentford’s pressing style.
  24. Owynn PA seemed to think so.
