Westbrom are going to take points off Cov tomorrow arent they ..
-
I really hope he makes some changes. Unless he's just talking a good game, he's hopefully the first manager in a while with a pair of balls. Just got to back up the talk now, hes got a tough crowd because we've all heard enough 'talk' this season. We need points now.
-
I won't be. Need to start getting 3 points and these are sh1t.
-
Those priority points dont collect themselves. Everything thats wrong with the system.
-
Well, one positive is that we now have a manager, albeit one that won't have had much time to implement any major change. We don't need a master tactician, we never have, we just need a manager who has some problem solving capabilities and a pair of balls who's brave enough to change things that others haven't dared to. Ive always said we will avoid relegation, however daft a thought it may be, and admittedly its becoming more daft by the week, but I still believe we will and I think we'll get 3 points on Saturday.

Not renewing my season ticket: I cannot be only one
adejo92 replied to LinekersLugs's topic in Leicester City Forum
I am a sucker for FOMO so il probably keep my ticket even if I dont go to most matches. I understand thats massively whats wrong with our fanbase, and I apologise, but not sure i am ready to throw in the season ticket just yet. Good memories are still too vivid even if I despise the club right now. -
That's the title flopped again then in true Arsenal fashion. Absolutely love it. Wonder what lego heads excuse will be for this one.

Another lamb to slaughter. Poor sod, seems a nice bloke aswell.

It happened on the way to (or from) the ground
adejo92 replied to DJW1's topic in Leicester City Forum
I know it wasn't on the way to or from a game strictly speaking (sorry)... But the Ranieri sacking. We were still out walking the streets of Seville singing his name when the news came out. -
Must admit, whilst I am a big critic of King Power, it probably is a wise move. If he does well, and we avoid relegation, I would have thought he will extend to a longer contract - and I am sure that has been discussed already. The last thing we need is another dud of a manager who we can't afford to sack, especially given the financial implications if, heaven forbid, we are relegated.
-
It might not work...but when your wingers are being rendered essentially completely ineffective, surely there's a point where you at least try to change things and experiment? What's the worst that can happen when we are getting turned over every single week anyway. King isn't someone who's been plucked off the streets. He's been around professional football just about his whole life, he's been around numerous different managers and has earned all his badges / qualifications. Rightly or wrongly, I am not giving him as much of a free pass as others. This isn't just about King though, something should have happened with Mavididi & Fatawu a long time ago. Whilst i often have some degree of doubt over Mavididi, i believe both players are much better than they are set up to be allowed to play.

Did you read that back before posting it? Christ, you've really had to scrape the barrel for positives just for the sake of defending your beloved Andy King.
-
I've not. I didn't buy any though in fairness.

Sometimes it's important to separate sentiment. I don't like being too critical of King, but he literally might as well have said to Marti on his way out "fancy leaving your notebook mate" Literally nothing has changed, evidenced by the results. I mean, it's hardly insanity, but the point remains the same; "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." You've got Luke Thomas and Ricardo who make mistakes week in week out yet persistently start - Guess what, they continue to start, they continue to make mistakes and they continue to cost us points. You've got Mavididi & Fatawu who have been completely sussed out. How about change things around? Swap sides? cut in less, adapt tactics to make them more unpredictable and to surprise the opposition? Nah, lets just keep things the same, we'll leave Monga and the new lad we've signed on loan on the bench - After all, Fatawu is capable of the odd cracking consolation goal. How about up top? Tell you what, Daka's just scored for the fist time in 9 years, he might have some confidence, he certainly looks like he's playing with a bit of confidence. Nah, fvck that, lets bring Ayew in to slow down the play and destroy any momentum. Come on, if it wasn't Andy King, who ever is running this circus would be getting absolute dogs abuse. Granted, its unfair on him the appointment, but he's still earning decent coin, he's still got all his coaching badges etc - I still expect to see some kind of positive change.

I am in two minds. I talk a good game on here and I am extremely critical of the club recently (understandably) but I still can't bring myself to make the decision to give up my season ticket just yet. Despite paying £40+ per month, I haven't been to a match since Sheffield United in November. Call me crazy, but I still think we will avoid relegation and I still think we will put together a run of results. -
This is going to be another 90 minutes of negative, clueless football by the same negative, clueless players under Andy Cifuentes on Saturday isn't it... Even if he's appointed today, it leaves no chance of getting his changes in for Saturday. Another 3 points dropped from the clubs incompetence.

Hi, any chance you could let me know where sells these please? Just so i can be sure not to visit.
-
Need the new manager in for this. Sentiment aside, we can't bare another game with King in charge. Clocks ticking.
-
Yeah, and rumours has it, Soyunchu did have.....

Probably is a bit unfair on the Paralympics, I do apologise.

Southampton 2-1 Afterthought FC, post-match thread

I get hes got a tough job, but ive seen absolutely nothing from him to suggest hes got any management credentials. Looks more qualified to fill in for Filbert Fox than he does the managers job. -

Couldn't really care about this result. More concerned about us dropping into the relegation zone than I am us losing tonight. Crazy that isn't it. A team replaces their manager and end up getting a convincing win. Meanwhile, we're business as usual with the equivalent of a PE teacher in charge. -
Into the relegation zone then, cracking.
