Or the 11 draws/wins we got with him in the squad? Believe it or not, but 3 points is less than 23 (6W, 5D). With Iborra in the squad, we have 23 points, without Iborra we have 4 points. By all accounts that win was more to do with Southampton being utter dross than us turning into Man City. Of course I didn't get to watch the Southampton game though...

As much as I want to vote for Maguire, Mahrez or Vardy, I have to go for Iborra. Him in midfield has absolutely transformed our play style for the better, and he's absolutely class. We're not anywhere near as good without him.

Doesn't look like it's without much preparation though, we switch to a 3ATB formation quite often, so it's being worked on in training.

Well we had no natural right backs to rotate, no available central midfielders, and no available wingers that aren't already playing basically every game. It's less than ideal. We're so stacked in strikers that we're thinner everywhere else than we want to be. That being said, the team put out yesterday wasn't a bad one by any stretch of the imagination.

This. Half of this forum would have relegated Iborra to the U23s for the entire season after his first game. It's laughable.

So Amartey wasn't dribbled past once in this game, and had a 100% tackle rate (admittedly 2 tackles out of 2). Also had the best pass completion rate in our XI.

Am I being crazy or did Amartey have a bit of a cannon of a long throw on him today? Some more training and he'll be lobbing them in like Fuchs.

If it makes anyone feel better, Bernardo Silva alone cost more than Maguire, Iborra, Okazaki, Gray, Vardy, Mahrez, Amartey, Chilwell (obviously), Hamer (obviously), Fuchs (obviously), King (obviously) and Albrighton (obviously) combined. Almost our entire starting XI today, minus Iheanacho could have been purchased for the same as Danilo.
