Deep down we all still care for this club and bleed blue but god damn are they sucking the life and soul out of us at the moment. the club needs such a massive reset. A fresh new vision. Maybe we do need new owners with new aspirations like Vichai did when he came in. Brave and bold with big enough bollox to say we will win the premier league in less than 4 years now go! there has to be wealthy consortiums looking at Leicester for the history and sheer potential. There just has to be.

The game was not being televised over here so watched Ipswich give it a go and win. What a thought - why can’t our lot play with that spirits instead of plodding thru games? I’m not watching anymore games unless Ruud plays some of our academy stars. we are way past the point of having them even sit on the bench. They need to start! othersise it’s just another ass whooping where we tried but we’re not good enough or can’t score.

When a team cannot score 1 goal under any circumstances that has to be the day where they just pack it in And quit. There is zero point to playing this game if this simple action is not attainable. It’s the fundamental tenent of this very game.

Couldn’t watch the game as my boy had a tournament 3 hrs north. That was rough watch against a team with more players and a crooked ref. Came home checked bbc sport saw the result and put my phone away. Next week I won’t even check the result. I’m almost checked out now sadly. Only footy I’m watching is the champions league. Another one of those “ rules are the rules” contentious decisions. I remember when it happened to Mahrez. it’s unfortunate not intentional. If they tweaked the rule to allow it of players are slipping and out of control the powers that be will say it’s a new type of skill to deliberately beat the keeper. in this case Alvarez must have touched the ball ever so slightly it’s undetectable to the human eye. Question is just like off side does the VAR rule/system need to be that anal? IMO I don’t think so. despite the drama atjetico were still in it and should have scored their next penalty and the keeper saved rudders. That’s what knocked them out sadly.
