‘Some’ of our fan base are very quick to judge our academy prospects. If we aren’t careful they will all want away from us. they are still learning on the job and expecting every single one of them to have a breakout game like Rooney did at 16 against Arsenal is rediculous. Good summary mate! I was also in H1 row B in fact. first time I’ve ever sat pitch side and the view was fantastic. Yeh little disappointed in Monga. He lacked a little confidence & conviction in his application. Still learning on the job and will figure it out over time. Great defenders aren’t easy to beat so he’s gotta be more creative and not give up. Be persistent like Fatawu who looks like he’s back to his best. Tbh we should have won that game by several more goals had we taken our chances. I thought bilal looked a little off and daka/mcateer blunder was comical. remember the Italians had a fair few runs on our goal but spooned them way over.

Are there any academy projects that could possibly compete with Daka in the striking dept? LBH it’s a low bar. First proper game without Vardy up front will be very telling unless we get someone to fill that spot properly.
