  1. Hopefully that's the moment Spurs' luck changes.
  2. When are you numpties finally going to believe me.
  3. Believe me. It's written. This amount of luck is incredible and shows no sign of stopping.
  4. It's hilarious watching Conor Gallagher chugging around midfield getting nowhere near the football.
  5. It's written. Spurs are winning the PL.
  6. I was in favour when it was originally brought in but have since changed my mind. They clearly can't make it work in any form. It's just not a good fit for the game of football either. Makes the game stodgy and too long.
  7. They should just bring back NFL Europe as a development league for the NFL rather than trying to expand the NFL. I'm not going to stop supporting the Cowboys after 40 years in favour of an expansion British NFL team. I could however get behind the London Monarchs if NFL Europe was brought back. I can remember going to see them play the aforementioned Sacramento Surge at the old Wembley back in the 90s in an entertaining game that finished 31-26 to the Surge.
  8. I'd imagine the umpires might have been lenient and let Mathews bat even though he was slightly over the 2 minutes. But the pfaffing about with the helmets was the final straw at which point they were like, "You're taking the piss now. You're out.".
  9. Reminds me of a bugbear of mine in football. When a manager wants to substitute a player on and then has to wait another 5 minutes while said player arses about sorting his kit out.
  10. I just don't see a European division as logistically feasible. It's still too much travel and upheaval for inter-divisional games. Canada, Mexico and possibly Brazil would make more sense if the NFL wants to expand internationally.
  11. Don't know where others are getting their stats from, but according to fbref we have the highest xG and the lowest xGA. Southampton are lagging quite a ways behind us in both metrics. How anyone can say with a straight face that Southampton have been the best team, whether that be through the eyeball test or through stats, is beyond me.
  12. Absolute carnage
  13. Problem with these international games is that one team always seems to play like they're jet-lagged. Not a fan of the international games personally. Preseason fine. Regular season, not for me.
  14. There are only a few records in sport that appear to be so far out of reach that you can't envisage anyone ever getting close to them. Bradman's 99.94 test average is one of them.
  15. 2-1 FT. Liverpool the better team on the day truth be told.
  16. Absolute blooter from Goodwin. 1-1.
  17. Kirk needs to change something. Not in this game at all.
  18. 0-0 HT. Liverpool with the majority of the play. Only 1 attempt on goal for us.
  19. 0-0 after 25 mins away to Liverpool. Not much happening by the looks of it.
  20. Hope I'm not jinxing this, and it may partly be because Championship strikers aren't as clinical, but we've yet to concede more than 1 goal in any league game so far this season. Our goals against sequence is in perfect binary - 1,0,1,1,1,1,0,0,1,0,0,1,0,1,1
  21. That's 30 goals conceded by Norwich now. Rate of 2 per game. They're not going to win many if they have to score at least 3 most games
  22. Leeds showed how it's done. Don't get suckered in by Mads and Vesty standing on ball. Cut off the passing lanes to Winks, Ricardo and KDH. Wait for the square ball to Faes and Justin and that triggers the press.
  23. Wagner could be gone by this evening.
  24. The stars are aligning for a Spurs title. Pretty much everything going their way.
