Whilst somewhat of blame is on the manager for not playing the youngsters, more of the blame is on those that run the club. The club should be setting objectives of the manager to play the youth which evidently isn't happening.
One of the things that irritates me the most is when the lineman is in a far better position to see the referee has made an error, but they never have the balls to overrule him.
How many times has he made up the attackers mind by committing himself and trying to attack the ball rather than dropping off, holding up the play to allow other defenders to get back. Absolutely brain-dead.
Absolutely shocking second half. Headless chicken stuff trying to get the winner. Never looked like scoring and were only ever going to lose it. Carbon copy of Wrexham.
I'm by no means a tactical expert but to me it feels like we're attacking far too much down the wings and not enough through the centre which is limiting us to hopeful crosses into the box meaning we're hardly testing goalkeepers.
